  • Customers of DBS and UOB will have their access to mobile banking applications restricted if the presence of malicious apps on the device is detected. It's part of new anti-malware measures that are being progressively rolled out from this month to enhance customer protection. DBS and UOB join OCBC and Citibank in doing so, amid a spate of malware scams targeting Android devices.

Now, it's not the APPS in the mobile giving problem. It is DBS digital system giving every customer a frequent problem. Always outage!

If depositors are not happy with the restrictions, feel free to withdraw your deposits and place it with other banks. There are less restrictive ways to prevent scam. The big three banks, under the protection by MAS/PAP disguised as "regulations", have enjoyed super normal profits over the years by organizing themselves as oligopoly and colluding to keep interest on deposits low. It is time for smart depositors to pull out their money from these banks and place them in other banks offering higher interest rate.

CEO of DBS, UOB and OCBC each earns 7 times the salary of PM Lee. The poor PM Lee is terribly underpaid.

Good moves. But it's rather late. Why wasn't it done earlier?

Is it any wonder that they insist that HDB flats are affordable? Economy Class naturally find that $500,000 for a first home is out of reach, but First Class can afford to fork out a few times that to buy a first home for each of their kids.

It always starts off as “for your protection”. Digital banking is all about control. This is just the beginning.
