The iPhone ages so well. I can’t wait to see this same comparison with the iPhone 12 Pro but props to the Note 20 Ultra. The images are really crisp and I love the newer color science Samsung is using.

That's debatable since the xs camera is the same as the iPhone 11 so I wouldn't be expecting too much especially since it's rumored to still have a 60hz screen wich is very bad compared to averages now

Once again if you are going to compare cameras then use the BEST MODE on the ultra which is pro raw. People who care about pics want the BEST you can get out of a camera and you didn't do that. Compare the ultra with its best mode regardless of what the iphone has or does not. I personally use pro raw on all pics and it renders MUCH better than what you show.

At 8:43 you say "that big sensor is letting a lot of light in, it looks brighter". That is not how camera sensors work. The low light ability is not determined by the overall size of the sensor, but mostly from the size of the individual pixels on it. That's why for example the a7sII is such a low light beast, because while maintaining the same size sensor as the other full-frame cameras it keeps the resolution relatively low (12MP) in order for those pixels to be much bigger and suck in more light. Other than that, nice video!

They go back and forth between cool and warm tones because they are set in auto mode, but Samsung, as you mentioned has pro mode, which I'm really a fan of since it lets me tinker with different things, also same goes about white balance.
Edit: As I'm watching the video, I really hope Samsung makes a better job of catching more details in night time shots, you can see in 7:29 that iPhone is doing a better job at it. I'm a Samsung fan and I've always been jealous of that, props to Apple tho.
Edit 2: 9:51 Note 20 Ultra's wide angle photo looks better than the iPhone even without the night mode.
Last edit: Imagine if the Note 20 Ultra had the power of the software processing that the 11 Pro Max has...
Also I subbed to you because you do an amazing job of comparing the cameras of these phones

If that's true than just turn on the HDR on android not in auto mode.

Why you didn't mention anything about the clipping or blipping (?) Of the HDR video on the iPhone and iPhones in general? It looks like its beating when the sky gets dark and bright back and forth every steps you take, i see very little amount of people let alone reviewer mentioning this, because it ruins the quality of the iPhone but yet somehow People still choose that because no one mentioning it

Will you be getting the Mi 10 Ultra? It seems like that phone is really the one to beat for the overall package. I just ordered a poco f2 pro for 371 USD and it kinda unbelievable how Xiaomi does it considering the price of the SD 865. Really like to see a comparison of that Mi 10 Ultra against all the flagships now.

I just watched SuperSaf camera comparison of same, and the Ultra had best video and stabilization was so superior and 80% of the photos were better! And I have to say most phones have a decent camera for day time use, I'm still using Samsung S7 Edge and the photos still look great! So to say a phone being only a year old still keeps up should stand for most.

Hot Rod I totally agree, my S8 takes good photos too, and I have installed Google camera and I get some nice shots either from the stock camera or Google's. So it is not a huge deal if a one year old phone still can compete with newer phones. The Note 10 too can be very closely matched with the Note 20.
