I think it makes sense for Colette to go with Will tbh. Apart from Julius the other students aren't capable of making tangible objects for Will to use in combat. Wind/illusion, fire and lightning are not things Will can hold, only ice is which I doubt Julius would want to partner with Will. At least with Colette there if Will's weapon breaks or anything she is capable of making anything he needs with her earth based magic.

Will has his sword now though, in the crown game he didn’t use it. Maybe he wasn’t allowed to use it which is why Colette made him swords and the gauntlet.

Theory I that Rosty is a clone of elfie, explaining the reaction when will beat Julius as he looked like he was about to faint. Then it shows elfie embarrassed about the tormented by 10 elfie remark. Personally, I think it’s like a familiar or avatar made by elfie that can be controlled remotely, explaining how she knew what was going on during the tournament
That would be a change of pace but I think the show wants you to believe she’s perfect princess type. That idea would make her less perfect. 😊

Feel like this show is cool but hard cause it’s really following the tropes. Like I know black clover did but it always flipped them a bit. Mashel joked them and last part of mashel is more intense. Hope it shows some more special qualities. It’s okay to be tropes but today even 12 eps need to be super creative. Even chainsawman for what’s it is worth early on was different by his weird look and goal.

@@cemong9516 I skimmed the reaction since i didnt see this ep yet, stuck on dub. Just showing support since early views matter for reactors. I guess your right. Another poster corrected me too and clarified that things get very clever soon. I guess it's like hxh in that you think it's simple on the surface but it's setting you up with stuff so you get comfortable then it can really impress you. Besides it's not bad just i know the competition today is tuff when tons of hyped shows get slept on. Lucky this is one of the few action shows (besides isekai) i can think of that are new and from a big magazine. Hope it does well. that elusive samurai show is having some trouble for example. * wanna add im no super critic, i only see hype shows people suggest and know the big ones like monster, berserk, dead demon whatever, lol. so take my take with grain of salt. Just got back into the scene in the last couple of hyped years we had.

@@SpacePirateLordI think cause it feels like it’s playing tropes too safe imo. Great animation and I’m sure in 30-50 eps it will be great. Like 10 eps in one piece wasn’t mind blowing but it had a sole like a classic in making taking its time and fun. Jjk had tons of twist and turns and got the main cast going and main threat, bleach was slow but slice of life and old school appeal. Surprisingly Naruto in 10 eps was solid with a ninja world that’s unique for the time and tons of hijinks with a creative cast. Wands feels like cast art looks similar in a good and bad way and plot reminds you of a lot of other series down to pacing and last minute hooks etc. don’t know how to put my finger on it but I get why the mal score went down to 7s. Classics usually stay at 8.3 and up. We’ll see. Frieren to ep 8 wasn’t mind blowing either and it’s considered best anime on mal.

It more than likely has to deal with what I said, therfore I am trying to let him know that he's wrong and it's not what it appears to be. Either way, I get what you're saying. The problem is anything Omori writes is a slow burn. Danmachi was a slow burn after all. He likes to build up to something. Same goes for Wistoria, as everything prior to this upcoming arc is just prequel fluff to the real story. So yes, this is indeed more of a Frieren situation.
@@SpacePirateLord interesting 🤔 I was basing my take off a few eps and some complaints I saw on Reddit and mal reviews. If it has a slower author that makes more sense and these tropes may be set up and familiar on purpose. Hard to realize these days as we’re all a bit on edge to call stuff mid lol. 😂 I’ll take your more tempered and fair take over people crying that something isn’t mind blowing a few chapters in. Thanks hope as always a series finds its footing. Don’t wanna read something bad lol. 😂 sounds like it will get great. Plus I read sales were lower than 1 million but pretty solid. And it got such a good adaptation the animators must have great expectations in it. I recall jjk wasn’t up to the most crazy stuff and mappa saw its potential and it payed off. Same with aot. Another that was good 8 ep in but not mind blowing. 🤯 first two eps or 6 were pretty exciting though for the time.
@@nichescenes This upcoming arc is really great, and the arc after is even better. I hope they stop on the next arc, because it would blow people's minds. It's really fantastic. Yeah, I think people are a bit too quick to judge things these days. One of the major reasons why Omori got such a fantastic team for this is because his other series Danmachi is very popular in Japan, but the anime adaptation has always been subpar due to JC Staff. A lot of fans have been very irate or sad about that. I believe this series offered some fans of Danmachi who are themselves creatives the chance to jump onto one of Omori's works before it could be done in the same subpar fashion. Omori also has a lot of really interesting connections in the anime industry since he's friends with a lot of people. That said yes, he has a history of building up to crazy moments, which just makes the payoff all the sweeter.
