I just purchased the funnel for myself Thanks to your video, It's exactly what I was looking for as I can't grip a traditional shoehorn properly because of my disability, Thank you so much for not only introducing me to the funnel but giving a clear demonstration on how it works, thank you so much and keep up the great videos!
I recently broke my right knee approximately five weeks ago and this video is extremely helpful as well as the one about how to take a shower with a leg brace on or off. Thank you for making such helpful videos.
Great tips, Lindsay! I ordered the Juvo stick/shoe horn. They make moving and putting on my shoes so much easier. Thank you for your videos. Even though many of them don't apply to my present disability, they are still very informative and educational. Subscribed!
Interesting ideas. I have an Achilis tendon problem with my left foot. It's almost like having an extra heel lobe sticking out. I have tried various ways to cope with putting that shoe on, so as not to agrivate that and cause inflammation. Apart fromhvang an alternative shoe, compression socks and various scoops or Shoe-horns I'm always looking for solutions, so this was helpful.
I've seen ads for the Kizik and thought that would be a great option for me. Unfortunately, they do not carry my shoe size. I'm intrigued with the Juvo, though, and just put it in my Amazon cart. Thank you!
I wonder if the Shoe Funnel will work well with very soft shoes, like woven knit slippers? I would guess it would help stiffen up the heal in a way that will prevent it from collapsing. Certainly such footwear is the opposite of the Kizik, with the heal being pretty easy to crush and collapse. I'm hoping the Shoe Funnel will protect against that happening.
Any advice for an amputee with your experience as an OT? The funnel looks like it could work but having a hard time finding a shoe horn that I don't end up bending or breaking.

Please do a review some time of Billy shoes. My daughter has CP and we recently discovered these. They are awesome.

Could you please do a video on how to do pants’ button and zippers with no finger strength or finger dexterity?
I’ll add it to my list!
I'd like that too. I have arthritis in my hands, and neuropothy. It's very painful to pull up zippers and buttons
