Surefire G2X 16650 Battery Solid Upgrade!

Learn of this upgrade via a subscriber. After snagging up battery and playing with it for a bit now. Light output appears to stay the same meanwhile you gain rechargeable capabilities. I’ve already picked up enough for Surefire G2X I own. Highly suggest checking this upgrade out.

I have a 16650 rechargeable from orbtronics in my Surefire 6p. Works great, not as bright as the cr123s, though.

Haven’t noticed a brightness difference with mine since swapping.

Glad I saw this video. Have a 6p and G2X. Was considering boring out the 6P to take an 18650 but as Iv'e had it for 20 years plus I was reluctant to do the mod.

16650 setup is still going strong. Bought batteries for all of G2Xs.
