After having a few bows starting from cheap up to a good bow a vx3 33, all I heard about was matthews advertising budget, I decided to ignore that and try a few bows out and when I was done i picked a matthews, it felt great and my confidence was high, was it cause it was all the good advertising or people referring the bow, I don't know but the confidence was definitely there and that's everything in shooting bows or anything else.. aslo as long as the craftsmanship is there and matches confidence i don't care how.much they spend on advertising there a great bow..
You guys should do a 10 minute talk on the "cheap hunt" I have an older savage axis in 30- 06 that just took my first dear. But the cost of gun to get it done was not expensive at all.
Gotta be real though, most people are capable of balling once but choose not to. You can build a 6.5 with very nice optics for the same price as 4 or 5 cheap ass guns yet most hunters have a bunch of cheap ass guns instead of 1 extremely reliable accurate rifle

That is to broad of a question and controversial, so many people have strong opinions about what is the BEST for each animal or if it’s a short ethical shot or risky long range shot. These strong opinions are normally not science or fact based which leads to nasty arguments and people getting really upset.
Mathews has the biggest Marketing budget out of any of the companies. They spent 100 million on it last year. Theyve done some smart stuff in their marketing and how they sell the bows. RAGE Broadheads are another good example of what good Marketing can do.
