Derek Steahly from NV2 Suspension and Steahly Off-Road is going to dial in my 450L suspension and throw on the 7oz Steahly flywheel weight. I live locally in Medford, Oregon and met him and his family and they have an excellent reputation here in the Rogue Valley. I’m looking forward to him getting his hands on my bike to make it an even more capable off-road machine! Thanks for the videos Colton and as always we are cheering you on!
I absolutely love my 2018 crf450r for the desert..... for about the first 10 min the it works me lol have done lots of mods to it bust stil yet to make it enjoyable does the flywheel help making more usable??
Hey Udall I’m about to pull the trigger in a new suspension, what’s your opinion or differences in precision concepts vs AHM. I have a 2005 Crf450R with a Presicion C suspension but I’m kind of digging the AHM suspension for my 2020 Crf450x
Personally I think AHM suspension should be one of the first things you do to the bike. They’ve done extensive testing on these bikes and in my opinion have it dialed.
You should do a review of what tools you carry on the bike/self when your doing Mexico trips. I’m new to bike adventures. I’m coming from trucks and prerunning in built heavy vehicles.
Hey Tyler, thanks for the idea. New content is always needed. Congrats on the switch to two wheels. If you want to contact me via championadvenutres.com I would be happy to give you some personal tips. Maybe organize a ride to Baja in the future👍🏻
Hey Eric, we just recently raced a 24 hour mx race on the 450l (an x after all the mods) and have no issues with the weight of the bike. Our coolant kit removes 3lbs of “street requirement” components from the bike if you’re concerned. Also Scott Dimick sells a rear fender kit that drops weight as well.
No, I ride very tight/technical woods single track...rocks, roots, logs, 180 degree tight up and down hill hairpins, squeeze between trees not much wider than the bars at speed. It’s good, great when setup right.

Any news on the weight. Has it had any issues long turm
Still run this flywheel with zero issues 👍🏻 Recommended to every customer also with no sponsor/or paid backing. Just a believer in the product.
Is there to much weight in it for mx track, if suspension is set up.
