What type of connector dongles we must be when we remove AIS/canister ?
All of the necessary connectors are provided in the kit
One more question, since I removed all of my smog stuff and added your block off kit, I've never heard the radiator fan come on, is there a way I can test it to see if it works, it worked when stock so I'm curious
most likely Your fan still works, there's too many variables to diagnose but most likely your ECU temp setting is high.
Great build Colton, questions in regards to the 14 - 51 gears, are they effective on a stock motor and what does the 14 tooth do pros/cons on a stock motor. Can you use an X case saver on our bikes or did you just mod the stock one? Thanks in advance, I have your block off kit and brag about it over San Diego's silly one.
You need a cam shaft, exhaust and ECU in order to pull 6th gear with 14/51. No cam, you just don't use 6th and the gearing is still spread out more and the bike works better, in my opinion
Good info 👏
Cool video
Great video
Baja Rally 👍
😊
Good to watch buddy the tires I'm going to try soon. I do two-thirds on road for now.
That is *A W E S O M E*
Beautiful bike , i don't see why that pro circuit header needs to stick 10 feet out the front.....
It would be bloody expensive, and only a few mods are really necessary .
Are you involved with TWR, just checked our their site but can't tell who does the tours and where they ride.
Not familiar with TWR other than our friends brand 'Today We Ride'
If you're interested in tours in both Baja or Southern California we do offer that and you can view our website championadventures.com
What seat foam did you use with the thrillseeker cover? Im a tall rider and looking for your exact setup.
I just used some foam off of amazon, its still under testing so I can't suggest anything
yeah the 1x chavo bike thing was unfurtunate and divaish, a championship winning team giving up? A factory funded team too, wouldnt be me tbh
He drinks his coffee black...and as an old desert racer I enjoy the race reports. The energy of this commentary r early helps promote the sport.fyi JCR knew how to pick fast team members. That's why he had so many victories.
this is very informative, thanks mate. I'm considering doing one of the races next year.
Hope to see you out there! Let me know if I can help.
Your the man
Hi, wat is the weight of the bike?
Those silt beds are no joke. Even 4WD, 1,000 horsepower Trophy Trucks can get stuck in that stuff. When a bike hits it, there can be cross ruts beneath the surface, 2-4 feet down that instantly throws a two wheel bike down. The resulting dust cloud then obscures the bike and rider from oncoming traffic. All around, maybe the last place you want to be. Baja can certainly bite you in the a$$.

Love your recap bro. Great perspective, honest and straightforward. Keep calling people out!!!
thanks colton
Ryan Surratt is also fast he has raced almost anything on 2 wheels, he will show improvements 7x
@@MxGuru1 Surratt is a weapon for sure
Not to keep commenting, but why don't they make the trucks and large vehicles go 1st? That's generally how our local series rolls.
@@panic-revv85 no worries thanks for engaging. Trucks and cars tend to really ruff up the course but it's not a terrible idea.
Triumph guy made it 80 miles.
I hope you get your wish for the rally next year. Good luck!
Appreciate the support!
There's a lot of Utah boys on the podium, pro unlimited and 40+pro.
Who's here after watching the Coltons 24 BAJA 1000 RACE RECAP video? lol...
Awesome Colton! BTW the Triumph was out almost immediately.
No disrespect to the 4 wheel guys, but the bikes are the real race for me. Great review thx.
How much to help me prep and train for LAB2V? lol... I think I'll be at the Champ Ranch at some point in the future. Would be cool to get a few buddies to head out there with me and get some solid training in!
@@typicaladamo let get training. You can go to my website for some contact info.
Colty if you want i am artist custom páinter so the only you send me you helmet racing for páinter a great design men well is my Message. Think that. Surfo designs.
14:30 "when you quit the Baja1000"...... and the baby starts crying. HAHAHA the kid gets it!
I love how you don’t have a filter!! No sugarcoating it and calling people out love it.
It is what it is! Thanks for watching
Nice video- 13x Adrian Ortiz 👋 we will soon post our story and race recap as well with maybe a little more insight of our team efforts ! 🔥💪
Hey Adrian solid effort. Sorry I didn't speak more of you just hard to give everyone their moment. Can't wait to see your guys' footage, give us a shout when it's up!
307x siempre estuvimos peleando con la 369x llegamos 4to atrás de ellos muy buena carrera
Another awesome video from CA... thanks Colton!
I love this perspective! I got nuthin important to add but you are a legend for baja & Honda too!
I appreciate that!
Good video but you forgot to talk about the 17 year old ironman 782x
His effort was impressive! I didn't forget just hard to mention everyone.
Didnt he has diabetes or something too?
Hey, Colton! 👍🏻
Hey! Glad you're here!
I sure miss seeing you racing, Colton. Definitely a solid Baja legend. Thanks for your involvement and support.
Appreciate that! I'm still very motivated to get back out there but support is hard to come by.
Interesting thoughts
Chavo is the rider of record but he’s just the money in the team. I have a ton of respect for what he’s done in the Ironman days and giving these young guys the opportunity to race down in Baja. But all the credit should go to young guns.
For sure Shane Logan put in a solid ride for the first 300 miles.
@@Bennynthejetsss450 that’s why the team is called CSR (Chavo Salvatierra Racing) and rider of record should be Shane Logan because he works the hardest and is the most reliable fastest rider. I also have respect for his Ironman days and of course fielding a team.
Thanks love your direct comments about riders and teams.
Glad you enjoyed it. Baja should always be honest.
I quit following the motorcycles 10 years ago when Johnny Campbell moved on but after watching this video and Colton telling the kids to ditch their pacifiers for tire irons, I’m interested again and can’t wait for the rally.😊
Pro moto limited 😢
Sorry bro, a no show at the AHM test and being outside the top 5 makes it really hard to see what you guys are doing, plus nobody shared any updates from your team, all you’ve gotta do is tag ChampAdv. Help me, help you
Thank you for covering race and giving the desert racing industry media to watch!
Thanks for supporting our effort! If you decide to go back to racing Ironman, you should come back around and perfect the program
I am so looking forward to next year's Rally! Great recap Colton! Thank you for taking the time to make these vids
Colton’s the man! I agree. Don’t throw in the towel if you have a chance to finish. See you soon hopefully around February 🤙🏽✊🏽💨
