    You are a wonderful roaster, and introducing technology here is smart thinking, but you must pay attention to the first crack point, after which the temperature and drum speed must be reduced.
    continue👍👍👍

    Hello, I have the same equipment, could you indicate what functions the buttons located on the X axis have, they increase every 5?

    Hello, thank you for your videos, if I may I wanted to ask you how much this model differs from the smola 300g in terms of roasting results. Is it possible to obtain good results with this too and is it possible to follow a pre-determined roasting profile? Which one would you recommend? thank you very much and have a good day

      @@sarkpl thanks for reply. One other nice way to clean the glass body is to use sodium bicarbonate. Leaves it clear as new

      Also, do you know if the artisan scope will work with a Mac air? And can you recommend a good video showing how to get started on artisan? Thx!

    how did you make that funnel contraption to dump the beans into the rotating drum? PVC?

    • @sarkpl
      @sarkpl  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, PVC for bathtubs :)

    • @overthetopblues
      @overthetopblues 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just made mine out of a 1 1/4 PVC pipe heated it up and fit the funnel on the top, then bent it into shape. I also tapering the other end so it slides just inside the hole on the roaster.

      thanks, i ended up going with a 6” PVC pipe and 2x 45deg couplers with a stand
      I’ve done about 5lbs total and every time, there’s always going to be a few beans stuck between the rods and the glass. super annoying when i’m trying to do back to backs. do you have any solution for it?

      for others watching and considering, you’ll want to purchase a grade #0 steel wool cleaning sponge to get the tough grease off the glass.

    Is he using steel wool to clean the glass?? PLEASE!!! NEVER EVER use steel wool to clean a glass dish, pan, tube, etc. that will be used for roasting, baking, cooking, etc. The steel wool leaves micro-scratches, and if anyone has ever used a glass cutter knows, those scratches are score lines and thermal shock will cause glass to break on those score lines. There was a big issue with baking dishes exploding in ovens because of people using steel wool to clean them. Instead use a Magic Eraser sponge, baking soda mixed with dish soap, Bar Keepers Friend, or cornstarch and vinegar.
