I live so close to Forest Hill Park and love the loop! You should ride at Pocahantas State Park

Great sample of Forest Hill Park. It is super fun the other direction as well. Buttermilk entrance is right across the street. Some of the most technical riding in richmond.

Dude! I just watched your bike sizing vid then thought I'd check out what was near me... There you are again! Thanks for the tour... I'm new to Richmond and I can't get over how much the city caters to outdoor activities. Pretty spesh. Again, thanks.

Love these videos. This one inspired me to buy a bike! Long time BMX rider so the mtb was a big investment but best decision ever.

I've raced there before! Some of the weirdest riding I've done because of the urban/natural mix. It's a lot of fun though!

I have raced there for a Virginia High school Series race. It was loads of fun, even if I didn't do too well.

Dude this is awesome! I’m from Richmond and just realizing what an amazing city I live in for MTB trails! Newbie question: I’m 43, 5’7”, 150 lbs, fairly athletic, and I want to get to the point where I can confidently ride trails like Forest Hill and Buttermilk. Knowing all that, would you recommend 29 or 27.5 for me? Hardtail or full susp? I’m looking at several different bikes right now and wrestling with those two big issues. Thanks man!

PS - I used to ride freestyle/BMX back in the day, so I’m fairly confident on a bike. It’s been a minute or two but I think I can get my sea legs back pretty quick.

I've raced there before and it always struck me as kind of a weird trail system because it's got some urban stuff mixed into it

Awesome video. Can a beginner go there? Can I go for a walk there? It seems to me that only bikes go there. Curious.
