@@Gloryboyquan even for me, it took a bunch of tries to find the correct angle for the jumps. Once you've got those 2 respawn jumps down and can do them every round consistently, it should work out. Additionally, having a bunch of boost from tricks is necessary, so make sure you win normally first, to get the trophy that unlocks the boost feature.
Soooo... how do you do the robot on the vita? 😂 both R and L with the right side of the touch pad or? It’s a pain In the ass on the vita, starting to piss me off
@@Purek1410 I dont remember the exact controls and they were too subtle to explain anyway. So I would recommend an old FAQ guide that helped me at the time. Search "Ratchet and Clank Hoverboard FAQ". Go to the "1F- The Tricks" paragraph. Press Ctrl+f to find it in the page more easily if you're using a pc.
@@Mikomaxless The timing is a lot more strict than it looks. You're probably getting it wrong. I say probably because this game was never patched as far as I know. I googled and i cant find any update ever having been made on it.
I'll rescind my comment. After many many attempts, I was able to make the first short cut work twice in one race, giving me the extra half second I needed for the skill point.

How did You manage to start with full turbo booster?
You need to do a trick like Do the Robot. This gives you full meter. So I didn't exactly start full but that trick made me full right after I started.

I DID it on the HD collection. Of course it works.
Must have been patched then. Tried it 10 times, the jumps you take do not skip you forward when I am trying now.
