@@rachel1426 it does, its complicated but the guy you meet on pokitaru has to be escorted through the entire level for you to receive the o2 mask at the end, and on the main path if even a single enemy is left unkilled he wont follow you all the way
@@Kurtis11266 oh, I guess that makes sense. On a side note, I noticed you can hold the edge of the boat instead of sitting on it, and if you are close enough to the guy, he'll keep sailing, and no enemies will jump up
@@wapoow4396 that removes the skill gap between average and advanced players. The glitches take an insane amount of skill to pull off. Plus they have glitchless runs anyways

3:56 i remember replaying this and being frustrated I couldn’t skip and had to wait the whole section. just a moment after the beauty of their creative ways to cope with loading screens hit me, and I realized they also worked real hard for the animation of the space and ship parts we see, having a brilliant state of bliss, just, y’know, enjoying the view. how ironic every goddamn speed run will get the same ride. i hope you enioyed it:)

What the hell did I just watch? Was like a series of disconnected movie trailer sequences... Nice run, just played through this game casually and never seen anything like this.
Amazing run. Long time casual player of this game, sorta new to the speedrun. I know enough about the tech to follow most of the run, but I do have a couple questions: 1) How do you warp to the Hoven turret so quick? Is there a trigger that you're touching or something? 2) Also, is the use of the PDA to gain extra input a one frame trick? Also, I was also surprised you could trigger the Gemlik ship fight from where you did. The trigger area for it seems really big.
the hoven turret doesn’t check for height coordinates so you can just stand above or below it and still get pulled inside. Most pda tricks are quite lenient, but the pda sideflips are 2 frame tricks
I feel so jealous that i used 1 hour of struggling to get helicopter upgrade and not even finished the game from 2 decades ago and i see this, it kinda hurst but also kinda funny
Hey, ya mind showing us how to do that trick with the Decoy Glove on the Warship? I think the Warship is cool and wanna keep it around, but everytime I try what you did it doesn't work and I think I'm not doing it right.
That's ghost ratchet + ILJ. If you save yourself from the mud you can clip through walls and if you do a long jump off of certain surfaces in the game it will glitch out and think you're constantly touching the ground and resetting your jump.
