    John,there is one thing you have to know. You are a BIG part of the Rock History over the years. People are listening to a song,but they don`t know how much work there is before the song(s) will have a thumbs up to go to the LP/CD... There is allways a story behind a track/album. Thank`s for the innsigt you are giving us.

      @@johneden-producer4614 all food here John, it’s not so bonnie though, it’s pissing down just now 😀
      Off to Vegas on the 30th for a week so a couple of dollars on red 27, as the Rossi/Young song says might be appropriate ✈️🇺🇸🍺🍸☀️

      @@Taximan2002 do hope you win big in Vegas. I sold my place there a few years back when I “tried” retirement for a few years in Thailand. Now back in the USA up in the mountains of Hope, North Idaho. Have a nice lake here so maybe some summer fishing.

      Just looked up Hope, that really is way out in the sticks but it looks idyllic, beautiful scenery.
      If I win $100 in Vegas that will do nicely for me, might pay for a couple of drinks 😀

    John,you are a leggend...remember i bougt the Line Up album and saw all the artist that was on it,wooow. If i remember it right,Was it Mick Moody and Rick Parfitt on Antony Boy??

      Appreciate reaching "Status Legend" Lars but I'm really not worthy!
      On Anthony Boy we recorded at Richard and Marietta's home Hyden Ridge, Godalming in Surrey. It was a perfect track to persuade Rick to play on. Its a steaming rhythm section him and Micky with the amazing sadly missed Cozy Powell. I was chatting with Graham this week as he gets ready for some UK dates with the Graham Bonnet Band.

    Yeah, nice to be back here. I hope to hear more stories from your work with Quo, Graham Bonnet and co. Any new projects in the pipeline John?

    Hey John, love your reminiscences. I know you’re a busy guy but any chance of you remastering/ remembering your experiences with any more late 70s Quo?
    Cheers Poptious!!

      Thank you James, a great idea. I don't have any studio footage but I can certainly record some more stories of my time with late 70's Quo.

    Sorry for asking too much John,but what instruments did Francis play on Nightgames? I can remember on the sleeve (years ago) it say Citar,maby some other things too?

    • @johneden-producer4614
      @johneden-producer4614  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Main featured instrument Francis played was the coral sitar. Pip loaned his to us and we recorded this at Francis’s home studio (The Glade) that I helped him put together in the loft above his garage. I also brought in Gary Twigg to redo the bass and we ended up using his track rather than Neil Murray’s that we’d recorded at Red Bus.
      We mixed Night Games at The Marquee Studios after attempting at The Glade. We just needed more channels for fx’s that we didn’t have at The Glade.
      However “What Your Proposing” was mixed at The Glade on the 24 channel Soundcraft and that reached #2 in the UK charts.
