I appreciate the level of risk you took for this. I liked the video very much, however I personally don't think these markets are affecting much to the huge brands they are featuring. The ppl who can buy a real Rollex will always go for the real one only! But I think these markets are probably a nice earning source for many officials!!😊
Heera panna best place for teenage and young guys in Mumbai ... I love this place.... Karl found hidden gems of Mumbai...every country has such market where they sell first copy including USA and new Zealand .. no big deal 👍 ..
Great work, Karl. I'd be too embarrassed to buy one of these. Have you done an expose of Tank Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi? The US has named it as one of the top 4 market for counterfeit designer goods in India.
My experience of watching Turkey change is that in the 80’s I could go to the market and buy gorgeous local crafted clothes, material, foods. But when I returned with my children in mid 2000’s after a gap of about 10 years, all the markets sold were counterfeit items. Mikes upon miles of counterfeit jeans that bore no resemblance to the real ones apart from a label sewn on. And the teas, spices and Turkish delight was all mass produced and pre-boxed. More tourists putting higher demand on the industry in the now sprawling tourist areas is mainly to blame for this. Also the difference in how I was treated from being a teen and then mid twenties had also changed. Manners had left the area. I was propositioned for a night of entertainment in front of my children many times. I responded by telling them they bring shame to themselves and their family by speaking to a mother that way. In Turkey, they know tourism is ruining their country, but they have grown to rely on it and the attitude towards foreigners has changed. I still made friends with locals, but with many there was always a catch like can I stand CD’s or tapes of rock music out to them. That was a common one. The next time I Go, I will go to a more out of the way place, a village area & see if that holds the same values Turkey pre popular tourism took over.
India has great temples, marvalous heritage monuments ... Lots of great and positive things to show .... I request you guys to make better content. This was OK ... But I wish to see more content that speaks about Incredible India....
That is why you buy branded items in their respective stores not just anywhere. In india, you will see street vendors selling adidas, reebok and other t-shirts, wouldn't call it a scam; because anyone buying there knows they are fake. It is definitely illegal but wouldn't call it a scam.
The problem here is China, and it is our Enemy....... I know that we can't stop chiniese products But try to avoid as much as possible, Nation first , than leading a fake luxury lifestyle
The A quality grade knock off designer handbags I've seen are pretty good actually at a fraction of the cost. No offence to those who have the original.
only people who have never dealt with real designer goods can say something like that. those are cheap fakes, every connoisseur will see at first glance.
yeah... because i have seen so many shopkeepers telling a high value of something to foreigners which is much lower for indians. because they know that indians wont be fooled thats why they take advanatge of foreignes sadly
In india all shopkeeper will say this is a first copy.. No one will come to you and will say this is the original 🙄🙄 And the watch you got of Rolex you can get that watch even for 150 Rs just near any local railway station..
I remember that too and was felt sorry for him then. Keeping that in mind, he needs to make sure he is not doing any videos of investigative, detective, or things that police get involved in. It's one thing to make a video of himself getting scammed or pointing out to an area where fake products are sold to alert people, but to enter these locations on purpose to examine and investigate further and talk about how they avoid raid etc. am not sure is a wise thing Tourist visas don't allow certain activities , he is a foreigner unless he has a different visa now. I wish him well so hope doesn't get himself into trouble.

Thanks for telling us about this market. I am gonna buy some 10 pair of Air Jordans from here now. 😂 And those idiots shouting in the comments, that a counterfeit can't match original, Just experience a First Copy (not second, third or further) yourself, these are literally made with exact same material and even in the same factory in many cases. You guys are just paying that unjustifibly Overpriced high amount for brand's exclusivity not the quality. 🤡
I don't see the big deal here. People are selling goods at reasonable prices. People get what they want and the merchants make money. The only ones getting upset are multi billion dollar corporations that don't care about people anyway. So why care about the corporations ?
Lol I used to stay in South Bombay for 5 years and this market was very close to our home. Every guest who visited us be it from or outside of India, loved to visit this market. Firstly, the owners themselves accept that the products are not original. The quality of the products is similar to other affordable brands but these firstcopy products have tag of luxury brands - this is what attracts us the most. I personally love Heera Panna market when ever I want to buy an easily disposable seemingly luxurious product... Even my friends love it and it's one of the very few markets in India which has products for everyone and not iust females. There is wide variety of products, accessories, innerwear, sex toys and what not... The only drawback is the extent of bargaining one has to do. A product of 1200rs can be sold to someone at 900rs and someone who is good at bargaining, can get it for 400rs.
You'll be lucky if you're not demonetized for this one, Karl. I'm a watch guy and the watch channels rarely run fake vs real watch content because they get demonetized. Interesting stuff for sure. I ordered a G-Shock recently because I like them and would rather have a real G-Shock than a fake watch.
Hey, nice work! I came across your video randomly and I’d like to share my experience. I proudly own some real expensive handbags out of which my most go to and fav are FENDI KAN I baguette and a PRADA JACQUARD SYMBOLE. I went to Dubai night market last year and there discovered such place. I was so startled to see all these bags on a cheaper scale, although I was carrying mine original😅 Even the shop owners might’ve thought that I have purchased like this, but no, they’re not! (I’m a bag fetish, and I like spending on handbags, and I work hard for that!) Well..I’d never go to places like this again. I never knew places like this exists more!😅
If the counterfeit quality is as good as the original(or 75% of the original ) I would give it a try. Spending 15000 on a counterfeit Christian Dior just to impress others is ridiculous. You can get very good quality bags for that price .
my husband wears a g shock too...and i think its pretty expensive. a watch tells time thats all. put your 5 lakhs where u can earn some interest from it

I appreciate the level of risk you took for this. I liked the video very much, however I personally don't think these markets are affecting much to the huge brands they are featuring. The ppl who can buy a real Rollex will always go for the real one only! But I think these markets are probably a nice earning source for many officials!!😊
Please come to Canada soon Karl!
Why invite this guy??
The dedication to giving us content though 🔥
Stay safe though brother 🙏
Heera panna best place for teenage and young guys in Mumbai ... I love this place.... Karl found hidden gems of Mumbai...every country has such market where they sell first copy including USA and new Zealand .. no big deal 👍 ..
If it works as a bag, I honestly don't care. But great video! Love the investigative reporting.
A plastic bag works just the same as any other bag , would you really want to walk around carrying it all the time though ?
Great work, Karl. I'd be too embarrassed to buy one of these. Have you done an expose of Tank Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi? The US has named it as one of the top 4 market for counterfeit designer goods in India.
Heera Panna sales after this video. ^^^^
THE BEST TH-camR PERIOD
Thanks Karl this is the first time I watched your video completely
Karl we need more such videos like these 💪🏻very informative
Good as always mate
This is the type of videos we ❤️. Nice Vlog. Love 🇮🇳
We call them grey market. But these are sometimes only place to get latest tech even if its not available in infia.
Fascinating. I remember one of those in shenzen back years ago ;) Then gf went all ham on the copies. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay safe m8.
Honestly I like the first shop and how straightforward they are discussing the build. If I was interested in luxury goods I'd support them.
The problem here is China, and it is our Enemy.......
I know that we can't stop chiniese products
But try to avoid as much as possible,
Nation first , than leading a fake luxury lifestyle
Good information karl, thanks
The A quality grade knock off designer handbags I've seen are pretty good actually at a fraction of the cost. No offence to those who have the original.
only people who have never dealt with real designer goods can say something like that. those are cheap fakes, every connoisseur will see at first glance.
@@xxiielhazarothpagangrinder4455 Well he said pretty good for the price , not just as good
Thank God I was never into buying designer/name brand products. Such a waste of money.
Simple life = Best life
Another great video bro
As long as there are brands there will be counterfits, there's no stopping them
OG Karl Rick Video!! 🎉
You should never say to the shopkeepers, your budget is 6500 or anything, you should bargain, always
He did tho lol got like 20$ off or something!
@@wellidk556 The price of that watch is around 50$ max in india that was mall so it was almost double
yeah... because i have seen so many shopkeepers telling a high value of something to foreigners which is much lower for indians. because they know that indians wont be fooled thats why they take advanatge of foreignes sadly
@@ZaWarudo69 Just like Canadian education system enrolling 10k student for 30lac rs
When jobs are only 500 avaliable
@@jayvalecha4874 can you tell from where can we buy such products at right price?
where did u hide the cam buh!!awesome even I can follow ur idea to record some important data
Good information. Thanks.
In india all shopkeeper will say this is a first copy.. No one will come to you and will say this is the original 🙄🙄
And the watch you got of Rolex you can get that watch even for 150 Rs just near any local railway station..
That full face mask definitely had some Daft Punk vibes going on
Shopkeeper: Panga nahi lene ka
Karl: Here! Hold my beer.
There is nothing scam here.
I remember your mentioning of the difficulty returning to India. It's good to see that you've managed to go back.
Tbh G-shocks digital watches are among the coolest watches i have seen ,especially their army camouflage series ...
Totally agree
watches for little boys, imagine an adult man wearing a gshock LMAO
@@xxiielhazarothpagangrinder4455 soldiers wear g shocks ...clearly they are the men among the men's ...stop being a child..a watch doesn't make u a man or a child but the persons words and actions ...
I don’t quite understand people’s desire to have expensive brands like this. But to each their own
Karl's at it again! Debunking and throwing shade ... yet delightfully entertaining and informative. A bit of a prat, yet a sparkling chap!!! Cheers, mate!!! Hope you finally find the "friendly price" for "first copy"... someday.
Thanks for telling us about this market. I am gonna buy some 10 pair of Air Jordans from here now. 😂
And those idiots shouting in the comments, that a counterfeit can't match original, Just experience a First Copy (not second, third or further) yourself, these are literally made with exact same material and even in the same factory in many cases. You guys are just paying that unjustifibly Overpriced high amount for brand's exclusivity not the quality. 🤡
U r so intelligent
I don't see the big deal here. People are selling goods at reasonable prices. People get what they want and the merchants make money. The only ones getting upset are multi billion dollar corporations that don't care about people anyway. So why care about the corporations ?
The Actual scams are Brands, Id happily pay for quality of the product, rather than paying mindlessly 10x markup for a brand.
Karl bhai Kolkata kab ahh rahe ho???
I'm really confused, are all these shops run by people from the same community?
Are they smuggling this stuff illegally due to contacts?
I don’t mind these particular shops so much. They’re honest about the merchandise being counterfeit and the originals are overpriced.
I was so startled to see all these bags on a cheaper scale, although I was carrying mine original😅
Even the shop owners might’ve thought that I have purchased like this, but no, they’re not!
(I’m a bag fetish, and I like spending on handbags, and I work hard for that!)
Well..I’d never go to places like this again.
I never knew places like this exists more!😅
Should those brands have such ridiculously high prices? What do you think?
Wow Liked The Adventure hehe !!
Would be awesome to se a series when you create your own brand selling something from from india to your viewers!
What a great but risky job you did 👍🏾
How much do you sell me your “ first quality copy” Rolex watch .hahaha 😃 👋
If the counterfeit quality is as good as the original(or 75% of the original ) I would give it a try. Spending 15000 on a counterfeit Christian Dior just to impress others is ridiculous. You can get very good quality bags for that price .
My guy pulled out the rug for the counterfeit rollys 😂😂
Karl complains about counterfeits, 3 months later is chipping his console to run illegal games.
I would buy. Glad to see you 😊
my husband wears a g shock too...and i think its pretty expensive. a watch tells time thats all. put your 5 lakhs where u can earn some interest from it
Totally agree. G-Shocks are great.
There are such markets all over the world be it New York, Turkey, Dubai 🙄 what’s the fuss about?
It’s a copy, clearly mentioned by the seller. You bought it being fully aware that it’s a copy.
Even Hyderabad Old city some areas have fake product black markets still today, they're cheap so good demand
I would definitely buy from these stores it’s save huge money
It depends what you are buying , they may look just as good sometimes but they won't last too long , if they are cheap , theres usually a good reason why.
One day you will discover that rabbit hole going to the top politician in power and that is where ppl starts to wanish.
I didn't find anything unusual you had to go through there are markets like this in east & west and counterfeits are sold openly in malls in London and America to 😧
I like the first shopkeeper that explained everything
