I haven't actually seen hidden doors. This sort of 'second quality' biz was carried out quite openly back in the day, in markets in Bur Dubai. E.g. Really good quality, Malaysian made Rolex Watches! I lived in the UAE since 1995 for over 25 years, off and on so, personal experience. 😂
Actually you got to come to NYC you have to step into a van and they show you what they have then drive you to their underground warehouse for the high quality reps. The cheaper low quality are on suitcases and they show it out on the street.

I do have a feeling these might be extremely good replicas, like possibly made in the same factory. I could be completely wrong but I go to like the Gucci and Louis Vuitton store a lot (literally just to look and laugh at how ridiculous things are) and honestly a lot of that stuff looked pretty good. If someone were to go to these shops in old Dubai (I been to this area before) and spend $200-$400 for a shirt, your better off spending the same money at the Dubai mall for real products.

I used to work for LV. If you know what the real stuff is like, you can spot the counterfeits a mile away. I'm not that into brand stuff myself, but when I see people decked out in counterfeit brand stuff I think they look like a bit of a Muppet...because people who know, know. But you do you.

nobody notices lil bro, the only way to spot actual bad counterfits is with wrong logos or spellings the good ones are almost impossible
Nowadays, the same Chinese or Vietnamese subcontractors who make the legit goods for LV, Gucci, etc., just keep the machines running after the legit run is made. They make 20 times the amount they made for the brands, some with the exact same materials, and gradually swapping out materials for cheaper and cheaper bits.
But there are definitely a run or two made with the exact same materials as the originals. Even if you "know", many knockoffs are indistinguishable.
For the 99.9% of the rest of the world, telling the difference is either impossible, or immaterial.
I could see the LV bag was fake. LV never cut there labels at the seams.
@@movinon1242💯. I see this happening with CROCS as well. I bought so many for such a cheap price that official crocs can never sell. When I took them to a CROCS showroom confirmed that they are original. I still very much doubt that. The 1st copy crocs are indistinguishable. 😅

He didn’t have a hidden camera. Karl’s camera was on his bag, where everyone can see. He just told the staff that the camera is used for a boat cruise and it wasn’t on, which of course that wasn’t true, as we would not see this footage.

Just got back from Dubai and this inspired me to seek one out! Cool experience, I just asked a guy up a side alley at a small shop and he went and got the tout for me. Picked up 2 Stone Island polos that look and feel 100 percent real for 40 bucks each.

This happened to my brothers and i when we went for the first time, they saw that we bought a few things from the actual store and they asked us where we were from, as soon as we told them that we are from Saudi Arabia they started convincing us to buy watches, shoes and bags that were apparently real and luxurious, while throwing all the brands he could think of and they showed us pictures taken from the room they eventually took us to, it was not far from the actual store but it was in a place that looked like a small hotel, it was 3 stairs up and the room was locked with two doors and we were so scared and suspicious that we pretended we had to go and we have never got out of a place so fast. Ever 😂😂

I think you should buy the ray ban smart glasses that have a camera. That would be more easier to record at some situations.
Selling fakes is bad enough but asking for those ridiculous prices is crazy! Even in other places the prices are not this high.
In my opinion in the old days you could get "back door" product which was smuggled out of factories e.g. I bought YSL shorts in a Hong Kong street markets for AU $2 in the 80's. They were perfect and long lasting. Same in Bangkok in the 2000's. Rip Curl board shorts accurate right down to 3D labels for $10. Now all I see in Asia is poor to mediocre fakes...
Because the factories are like prisons now... I mean they were bad before, but at least they didn't have CCTV, x-rays and turnstiles

Got dragged into one of these places when a relative visited from abroad, and i straight up threatened to stay out on the streets of meena bazar alone (not the safest) rather than go with these guys and humor them. It was a battle of who could convince my family better. Sadly these guys won and i sulked the rest of the night pissed off at my family for going along with it
I've purchased knockoff Nikes, in Philippines. They are made in the same factory. Often by the same workers. I've looked at them up close, my copy and the original --- zero difference. Well, that's not entirely true. I get my Running shoes (The Zoom) for around $25. And I've been wearing mine over three years now, and love um.
"Made in same factory" is a rep-head lie. Mostl fake Nikes etc are made in China and Nike aren't.

Ah man, I was in Dubai day before yesterday on the way back from Oslo. Dubai is such a weird place. I can't seem to put a finger on it, I guess it's just that there's so many Indians there that it feels like being in India. But overall just felt very scammy.
