You have just spoken the exact same words of the most famous anime ever created 😁 the android says the exact same thing before dying to one of the villains, what you said reminded me of this scene th-cam.com/video/dcSWlET_qpI/w-d-xo.html
I'm tired of people who think being a Christian means watching love ones get raped, or murdered or hurt, yes we are supposed to love our enemies but loving your enemies doesn't mean you allow them to destory life and commit unthinkable atrocities! Too many people are unwilling to stop evil and think evil is just going to stop it self! How foolish! If there was no cops or militaries to stop evil then evil would ultimately win!
But our Lord Jesus is going to come back and defeat evil, until then WE have a responsibility to preach and spread his word, warn others to turn from their sin and to protect life!
Jesus is the one who said to sell your cloak for a sword! Jesus is the one who had disciple's and apsotles who had swords around him!
People think just because Jesus told Peter not to attack the person who's ear he cut off means Jesus is telling is just to let evil win! That is non sense!
Jesus specifically told him not to do it because Peter was interfering with what Jesus came on the Earth to do! Which was die and be a sacrafice for the sins of the world!
Jesus could at any time protect himself if he needed or wanted, he doesn't need our human help to defend him
He told Peter to stop because he HAD to go die on the cross for the purpose he was sent!
Jesus had plenty of times to tell his apsotles to not carry swords when they had them, instead he told people to BUY swords
Well swords aren't for chopping carrots!!! Although you could!
It's obvious they are for self defense and to PROTECT life
People get too confused because of the "love your enemies" and "turn the other cheek"
Yes, we are to love our enemies and not repay evil with evil
That's the point! Defending LIFE isn't evil! So it's not repaying evil WITH evil!
It's repaying evil with JUSTICE and holding people accountable for their rape, for their robbery, for their murder!
Christians who take that weak view need to wake up!
If we went ahead and let evil do as it pleases and had no cops, no military and no justice or accountability then evil people would DESTROY all life!
Of course Jesus is going to come back and finish it
But we are CONTAINING it and fighting it as best we can UNTIL that time comes!
There is a difference between fighting for the right cause as you said and just stealing land for oil!
We have a RIGHT to DEFEND our life and protect it!
It's non sense to think that is Christians are to sit back and watch life and loved ones get violated and destoryed!
Sole Christians need to RETHINK their logic, I know some mean well but they are wrong
Jesus had all the many moments to address his apsotles carrying swords and Jesus himself told people to BUY swords!
What, do you guys think Jesus told them to sell their cloak and buy swords just to have them sit on shelves or to chop carrots with them?
      Give me a break
We are to DEFEND and PROTECT life and uphold JUSTICE

@RENE OBELE The Bible says that all the governing authorities on earth are subject to God's law whether they acknowledge Him or not, they're still subject to the eternal moral law.
The Bible also says that authorities wield the power to kill evil doers for the good of society and to see that evil is punished. The authorities are supposed to praise those who do justice, good and righteousness in the lands and make an example of those who wilfully pursue evil, including putting them to death. It also covers the use of military force to prevent evil running rampant.
Now, if you joined up and went into a military conflict with a clear conscience that you were doing the right thing but later on it became known to you that it was all a lie, that is not something that would be held against you. However if you're given an order to obey that is *unlawful* (contradicts God's law) then you are to do what's right and disobey that order. Also, if you went into an armed conflict knowing full well that it was a great evil you were doing but you still went anyway, then that is also wrong.
The Bible speaks a lot about how authorities are supposed to act and the subjects below them who also keep order (police, army etc.). It is because the nation's and individuals themselves reject God's eternal moral law that we see no end to corruption in these systems.

    • @kingdavid8178
      @kingdavid8178 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@RENE OBELE Well that would be wrong if you know you are taking innocent lives, I don't think you needed to ask that, obviously if someone gives you a command to do wrong you should disobey it, if a cop or military person follows through with a order they know is wrong then obviously they have sinned
In the video I think he was talking about soldiers who are following non sinful orders
Defending our nation isn't sinful and stopping evil isn't sinful
But yes you would be right, if me and you was ordered to take land away from people and take a country over just because we want their stuff then obviously that would be sinful and we have done wrong

What happened in the Old Testament when Almighty God Himself ordered and watched over His nation Israel, and when He commanded wicked nations to be totally destroyed for their corruption and evils ways, has nothing to do with our Christian era.
Almighty God is calling out for the future rulership of the world a body of "Kings and priests" who are to rule the nations of the world with Christ for a 1,000 years.
And our commanding officer, the Lord Christ, has instructed that we do not harm other humans in this present "Dispensation of Grace".
But are to control our corrupted human nature and submit to his commands and those of his personally ordained Apostles. For this is a life of probation to see if we are fit and aspire to be faithfully obedient, and so be granted an entrance into Christ's coming Kingdom.
For before a man is fit to rule over and control others, he first has to learn to rule over and control himself, and faithfully submit to the higher authority above him, which in the case of the Elect, is Jesus Christ and his Father, Almighty God.

I feel like this is a very dangerous thought process...This could well have many people thinking that they should be killing others because state 'authority' tells them to. That the line between killing and murder is made clear when certain individuals with power draw it themselves. That murder is a crime of passion like breaking into someones home and stabbing them to death, but killing is invading someones country and stabbing them to death...It just leaves much too much room for ambiguity and interpretation between what is or is not valid cause for killing versus murder...Also, saying that god ordered the deaths of entire nations, thereby setting the precedent for human slaughter en masse is hardly comforting.

God is the ruler of life AND death. He created kittens who will rip a baby bunny rabbit apart while they are alive. That is called torture. In nature the weakest animals/humans will die. There has to be some scale of that working in the territorial warfare that every single country is involved with. And not every man out there willing to sacrifice their lives to protect people is satanic. I’d say it’s the other way around and god understands that some have to be the ones to sacrifice. Do you think lions or bears (the kings of nature) go to hell for killing other animals to survive? It’s just a bigger scale of that. God knows your heart and if you actually want to kill people then ya you’re probably screwed if you don’t repent and work on that issue, but most people in the military are just trying to get strong and be prepared to protect their families and other people. I’d say all soldiers go to heaven, if they have good hearts. Kinda like how all dogs go to heaven and yes they are murderers. Christians over think everything. There are primal human instincts we are still animals at the end of the day and our systems are not perfect because man isn’t perfect. National defense is still needed and warriors are being called and in my opinion a soldier of god would be the only good person to fill those shoes

His word is our sword, and the faith is our shield. What is the proper reason to kill in war? For God? Land? Resources? God is good because even if you commit such a sin, he forgives. And that's enough to put my mind at ease on the issue

Exodus 22:2 New King James Version (NKJV)
2 If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed.
Luke 22:36-38 New King James Version (NKJV)
36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37 For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”
38 So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.”
And He said to them, “It is enough
    - The Bible clearly gives examples of killing that is done in self defense or to protect life and it being justified and NOT the same as murder, the first Bible verse was VERY clear on that
    - Jesus told people to BUY swords and no they are no FAKE, a prime example is when Peter chopper a guys ear off proving they had REAL swords
    - Being that Jesus's apostles and followers had swords as some were even soldiers, Jesus could have told them at any time to stop carrying swords around, the fact that he never did shows clearly Jesus did NOT have a problem with people having swords
    - A common misunderstanding is people using the ONE example and ONE time where Jesus told Peter not to continue to fight the people capturing Jesus with his sword
But if you read IN CONTEXT and understand that Jesus's entire purpose was to die on the cross as a sacrafice you will realize that Jesus stopped him NOT because it was wrong to protect others but because Peter was STOPPING the fulfillment of what Jesus had to fulfill which was him being captured and taken to die on the cross for our sins
The Bible itself is full of rulers and kings and armies and soldiers
God himself USED armies to kill and take life AS JUDGEMENTS
Please read in context and use COMMON SENSE
We were given dominion over the Earth and Animals and life, not to destory it but to use and protect it and multiply the Earth
God APPOINTED JUDGES and there is an entire book in the Bible called JUDGES!
If we did not have cops, militaries and protectors of life then evil WOULD win
Cowards will NOT enter Gods kingdom the Bible says
Watching your loved ones get hurt and violated and murdered is COWARDLY!
Yes we are to love our enemies, however THEY choose the consequences for their actions
It's not EVIL to stop a murderer or rapist!
And it's not repaying evil with evil because used your HEADS, the person stopping evil isn't comitting EVIL!
You have a God given right to protect YOURSELF and OTHERS!
This is different than taking life for no reason which is unjustified which is called MURDER!
    Killing and MURDER IS different!
Please read the Bible in context and use the common sense God gave you
Anyone who would watch another person be raped or murdered having the means to stop them but does not is a COWARD and EVIL
Watching it happened and not stopping it is MORE evil as you know what is right and failed to do it!
    God bless you all
And for those of you who took a different stance, please wake up and realize you are need to change your mind and use COMMON SENSE
If you believe that nobody is ever JUSTIFIED to kill then go live in another country or place where there are no laws or cops!
Hypocrites! You say it is unjustified but live in a country where you are safe because God has given you law enforcement and a military to have your back and protect you!
Hypocrites, go live in a place where there are not cops or laws then and let's see you live it out!
    How foolish
We are image bearers of God!
We aught to hold people accountable and uphold JUSTICE just as he does!
This doesn't mean we are taking his place! He is the ultimate judge!
But until Jesus returns we are JUSTIFIED to defend lives even if we HAVE to use for and kill to do it!
Please learn the difference between killing and murder!
If we are unloving because we kill to save lives then I guess based on that logic God would be unloving to send sinners to hell!
But God IS loving even though evil people WILL end up in hell if they don't repent and trust in his sacrafice!
Like wise we ARE loving by protecting life even if it means we have to take it to protect life
    This doesn't make us God
It makes us people who UPHOLD justice and DEFEND the rights of others which is their God given right!
People used to STONE people to death in the Bible if they broke the law!
That's PROOF killing is NOT the same as murder!
There is no way around it, it's a FACT that people stoned people as part of the law in the old testament and it wasn't considered "murder"
    Read in context
Me and others don't want to take the life of anyone, but if people try to end the lives of others unlawfully they have given their right up to life if they have to be stopped by no other means!
God bless! And God bless the 2nd amendment and the right to defend lives!

🤔👉👉THE EVIL SUCCESS IS IN TO MAKE YOU BELIEVE THAT ITS OK TO KILL UNDER SOME CIRCUMSTANCES OR JUSTIFICATIONS, BUT THAT'S OBVIOUSLY ONE MORE OF HIS LIES! BE AWARE!
USE YOUR MIND AND REASON TO SEE THROUGH!
NEVER GIVE YOUR POWER OF YOUR FREE WILL TO A PERSON WHO COMMANDS YOU TO KILL ANOTHER HUMAN BEING (BROTHER) YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN OR KNOWN, BECAUSE IF YOU ARE GOING TO KILL SOMEONE YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW OR HAVE EVER SEEN, SAYING THAT YOU WERE FOLLOWING ORDERS WILL NEVER SERVE AS AN EXCUSE FOR THE DIVINE PRESENCE OF OUR CREATOR FATHER! FOR HE WILL TELL YOU: "FOR THAT I MADE YOU FREE, FOR THAT I GAVE YOU YOUR FREE WILL, FOR THAT I GAVE YOU A MIND OF MY OWN SO THAT YOU COULD USE REASON, MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS." 🙏

With love, faith comes by hearing God's word (Rom. 10:17). And let us all come into the unity of faith (Eph. 4:13).
    1. Is the American government worldly or part of God's kingdom?
-- Jesus says, "They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth" (John 17:16-17).
-- In the Hebrew language, the word "NATIONS" is identical with the word *heathen* -- Psalm 96:5; Psalm 2:1.
    2. What are the weapons that Christians should use on their enemies?
-- "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
    3. With love, should we give our enemies food and water, or should we kill them?
-- "Let love be without hypocrisy [play-acting]. ... Repay NO ONE evil for evil. ... If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink ..." (Rom. 12:9-21).
    4. I now have been born from above -- a new birth brings new citizenship. Where is our new citizenship?
-- "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Phil. 3:20).
-- Are there Christians in this nation? Yes, but ... Biblically, we belong to a kingdom, not a nation.
-- Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight ... BUT now My kingdom is not from here?
    5. What kind of mind are we to have?
-- The mind of Christ (Eph. 2:5).
    6. Do the Old Testament Wars come into play, NOW?
-- Jesus says, "You have said, an eye for an eye ... BUT I tell you NOT to resist an evil person" (Matt. 5:38-48). Because ...
--"The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God" (James 1:20).
The work of the Gospel is to make peace between men and God--not war. Wherever a heart surrenders to God the spirit of militarism and nationalism must go (June 21, 1898). The person who believes that the voice of the people is the voice of God may want to reconsider:
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb ... they loved not their lives unto death" (Rev. 12:11).
    7. Does God regard it as less sinful to kill a thousand men than to kill one?
-- "Though they join forces, the wicked shall not be unpunished; but the posterity of the righteous will be delivered" (Proverbs 11:21).
    blessings, John

    1) the commandment is thou shall not murder, not thou shall not kill
    2) the commandment is old testament & is for interaction among Israelites. in other words,it means an Israelite should not murder another Israelite
    3) that is not the commandment the Bible calls the 6th commandment. there are 613 commandments in the old testament. in Exodus 34 the Bible calls this one the 6th commandment: "Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord God."

What is wrong with you some of you? Defence is what matters. David,Solomon,Samson and some others fought against others to protect what they loved. If God didnt allow others to protect themselves and just sit to be slaughtered by their enemy then these individuals would not exist. God supports fighting for whats behind you not whats in front. The opponent is in front and the home you value so much is behind you. God wants you to look out for the innocent so whats the problem? As long as you are not fighting with hate in your heart then God will guide you home along with all of those who wants the fighting to end.

Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Jesus expressed clearly that it was about "murder" as John Harris brought out.
    Very well stated case.
I've heard some try to support this "not kill" position, by citing the story of Desmond T. Doss the conscientious objector that was twice awarded the highest honor for valor in combat during WWII.
This Godly man was repeatedly spared from death, such as the machine guns of enemy soldiers jamming just as he came in their sights, and as an army medic he bravely saved many souls on both sides.
However, it is quite a jump to assume that the blessedness he received was in regard to his position on the 6th commandment.
Doss was a committed believer, seeking to KEEP ALL THE COMMANDMENTS of God - ALL THE TIME, and was raised to understand the 6th commandment as "thou shalt not kill" - as we might understand that phrase in modern times. Yet it is clear that God often blesses those that are doing all they can to follow Him, ...even when they may be missing details on doctrine. So I think God blessed him in spite of his erroneous holding (not because of it), and blessing him to show the power of faith in action. His story is quite marvelous for any that have not seen it.

Well, I think as followers of Christ, we should rather show the other cheek, as Jesus said in Mt. 5:39.
And Paul himself quotes in Rom. 12:19, that vengeance is the Lord's, from Deut. 32:35.
Also, in Isaiah 35:4, the Lord assures us to take revenge himself.
Finally, Paul speaks in Ephesians 6:12 not to struggle against flesh and blood.

To Kill and murder is NOT the same thing. Jesus is the one who told people to sell their cloaks and BUY swords. Do you think the swords he told them to buy was for chopping carrots? It wasn't a metaphor, he told them to BUY REAL SWORDS!
Proof is the fact PETER chopped a guys ear off WITH a REAL SWORD!
The reason Jesus rebuked Peter or corrected him NOT to defend him wasn't because it was wrong to defend life, it was clearly because Jesus WAS TO DRINK THE CUP meaning fulfill his purpose of dying on the cross and PETER was trying to defend him aka stop Jesus from fulfilling what his purpose was!
Jesus had PLENTY of times to tell his followers to give up their swords and he never did, he did the opposite which was to tell them to sell stuff to BUY swords!
Jesus doesn't need Peter to defend him as he said clearly he could call down angels from heaven if he needed too
Killing is NOT the same thing as murder
I could go on logically for days how you and other people who think like you are WRONG but here are just two examples in the Bible, this isn't my opinion it's in the bible
Jesus TOLD them to buy swords and no it wasn't to chop carrots! I don't think Peter was using his sword to chop carrots when he sliced a dudes ear off!
Exodus 22:2 New King James Version (NKJV)
2 If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed.
That is an example of KILLING which is JUSTIFIED and that is NOT murder!
According to you we should just not have cops or militaries and should just let evil people do as they please raping, murdering, beheading and destorying life!
      That is COWARDLY
The Bible says NO COWARD will enter into Gods kingdom
Anyone who would watch life be destoryed is a COWARD if you are allowing your loved ones to be violated and murdered!
God gave us DOMINION over this Earth and the animals
      God APPOINTED JUDGES!
Loving your enemies does not mean you LET them rape and murder with no consequences!
God loves us but that doesn't mean we can just go sin and do as we please! God throws SINNERS into hell even though he LOVED us enough to die for us!
Just as there are consequences for breaking GODS LAW and God is NOT evil for stopping evil
Like wise IT IS NOT wrong to STOP evil!
If we have to kill in order to stop someone from being raped or murdered then it is JUSTIFIED!
I just showed you a Bible verse were it talks about a theif being KILLED aka their life was ended and yet it was JUSTIFIED!
Please reexamine the Bible and use COMMON SENSE
I own guns and would NEVER murder my enemies just to murder them
If a person tries to MURDER, RAPE or HURT my loved ones, myself or others
I WILL justificabally end their life if they do NOT stop or go the other direction
Sounds like you would be the type to let people like us get raped, murdered and destoryed!
That is COWARDLY to watch people get their life taken by evil people!
The only reason Jesus corrected Peter was because he HAD to die on the cross and Peter was getting in the way of it!
Jesus IS the one who told them to sell their cloak and buy SWORDS and Jesus's own apsotles HAD swords which is evident buy Peter USING one!
Jesus NEVER rebuked them and told them to drop or get rid of their swords for protecting life
You need to REALIZE you are WRONG on this subject and we have a RIGHT to protect life!

And for the most part it seems you’re committing idolatry, and be very aggressive. While I do understand some circumstances, for the most part all murder is killing all killing is murder it’s the shed blood of an image bearer of God, you must repent and be sorrowful for it regardless.

@@lmaoaye7786 yes buying swords is totally for cutting bread and using it to put butter on their toast, please use common sense, if you think Jesus told people to buy swords for the purpose of spreading butter and for display only that's laughable and no evidence to support that
That's like saying police carry guys for the purpose of just showing them and never using them
I'm not being smart but having a sword implies using it unless you want to argue that Jesus is dumb and told people to buy swords but never use them
That's like police having guns on their hips but not allowed to use them ever
There would be no purpose to Jesus saying to buy a sword if they were to never use them ever under any case
And the other guy who commented doesn't know what he is talking about
He said the sword is the scripture
Which is false because #1 Peter cut a guys ear off so there goes that poor argument
What did Peter chop the guys ear off with a scripture? That's lauaghble that's how bad that argument is
No, Peter used a REAL sword which is why the guys ear got cut off it wasn't some metaphor
And the other guys argument makes no sense because Jesus said to BUY a sword and if it was scripture he wouldn't have said BUY a sword
And Peter didn't use scripture when he chopped a guys ear off with a REAL sword
I am not saying to take a life unjustly but there are multiple examples I have given where self defense was used and JUSTIFIED
All everyone else has is their theories and opinions
I have given what Jesus actually said and what the Bible said not my opinion or theory
Saying Jesus told people to buy swords but not to use them is illogical
People who make that argument are basically calling Jesus a moron and making him look like one
Jesus isn't a moron and isn't going to tell people to buy swords just for them to be a novelty stare at object
If he told people to BUY swords and Peter himself HAD and USED a real sword then common sense says it was a REAL sword he was talking about being that Peter CUT a ear off with a REAL sword
Jesus told Peter to stop because he HAD to fulfill his purpose on the cross
Jesus himself said that nobody would ever touch him in his kingdom because he would be defended
The only reason Jesus didn't want Peter to defend him was because doing so would result in him NOT being taken to the cross to die for our sins and that was his purpose was to get captured and die for our sins
What applies to Jesus doesn't always apply to us
He is the one who has that purpose to die for our sins, that doesn't apply to us meaning we can't die for sins like he did
When he told people to buy swords he meant REAL ones
He doesn't need protected because he is God and can have angels protect him whenever he wants or protect himself if he wants
Unlike God we cannot change reality and protect ourself without the use of swords, weapons or using self defense
God is not a moron and knows this which is why he said to sell your cloak and BUY swords
Because he wants people to be protected and knows there are evil people out there
The fact Peter had a sword in him the entire time and Jesus never rebuked him for it shows he had no problem with him/them and people owning and carrying swords
I already explained why he told Peter to stop because it was a specific situation that would have stopped him from being captured to fulfill his purpose to die on the cross
Killing and murder is not the same
Jesus meant it when he said buy a sword
If you think he said buy a sword to slice bread you guys are illogical
I own guns because I'm not stupid and going to let evil that exist to win and take innocent life of people I love
The same applies to swords back then
Jesus is a God of order and logic
You guys are making him sound like a moron if you think he would tell people to buy a weapon then stare at it and never use it
That's like saying but a gun but never shoot it and just look at it
      Lol
Peace, y'all can believe whatever non sense y'all want
The fact Peter chopper a guys ear off shows they had swords and it's not a metaphor when Jesus tells people to BUY swords
      Notice the word BUY swords
If you don't want to buy a gun/sword or weapon that's is fine, just don't say others are wrong for doing so
If you or others would rather be helpless and allow evil to win over good then that is called cowardice
God says no coward will enter his kingdom and anyone who would allow evil to happen without stopping it is a coward themselves
If you don't want to own a weapon then DON'T
Nobody is forcing you to own a sword or weapon
If you want to be a victim and be robbed and raped and murdered by evil people then that's your choice to not defend yourself or your loved ones
It's not revenge to do so, it's called justice
When a judge gives justice that doesn't mean he is getting revenge
You people who think only God can give justice to people on this Earth so people shouldn't have consequences or justice given by anyone else are absurd
Yes God is the ultimate judge but he also appointment government and judges to give justice and consequences
There is an entire book in the Bible called JUDGES
I'm not telling anyone what to do or believe
But I am pretty certain I am correct in that they used REAL swords and he was talking about real ones
And there are multiple examples of JUSTIFIED killings in the Bible
Nuff said end of debate because there is none
The Bible already showed justified killings so for anyone to argue that nobody can ever be justified in self defense or a killing is STUPID
      Later
