And srilanka is not buddhist country either .you are wrong .so many weak nominal buddhists converted to christinity by using dollars ,jobs marriage scholorships by christian politivcions bosses,business men and someconverted to islam same way. . I doubt even if census taken majority are buddhist. But it will not fall.. From 1505 poryuguse tried by sword killing buddhist psrents babys if not convertrd to catholism then by dutch ,british not giving jobs depriving education if not convertef to christinity. still all could not converted. Though fundermental christinity became stronger with u.n.p and chandrikas periods .gotabhaya buddhist president was chased by them christisns ,tamil diospora muslim diospora. taking lead. .wiith opposition backing. Up.. to hatm buddhist dovtrine too.

The best love story in this universe is the love story of Prince Siddharth and Devi Yashodara ( if we are talking about husband - wife relationship) ❤🙏that was not about lust...not about attachment..it was all about sacrifices...Both of them always thought about the other one. Devi Yashodara helped Bodhisattva to fulfill paramithas for thousands of lifetimes and in the last lifetime, Lord Buddha didn't forget that 🙏Lord Buddha made Devi Yashodara Attain Nibbana , which is the best gift in this universe ever ❤🙏
We cannot be in that level of love. We don't have such big hearts. But we can love our loved one from our hearts ,honestly without hurting them ❤🙏

My first unconditional unbound love came within my heart to my parents as a base as your venerable peached later with my trust on others the same way despite being females,male friends,relations or other of any kind specially my unconditional love goes to animals because their primary conditions of being speechless about their sufferings and helplessness than humans when considered in such circumstances helping guides always being followed by others to help them in such miseries or to make their lives comfortable enough.

I have often seen many Venerables saying that just like we radiate kindness and love towards others, we must radiate that exact same quality to ourself as if we were just another being. If we practice in this way, we will eventually reach a better state. Ajahn Sona has wonderful talks on Metta on his channel. He has roughly 25 videos on loving-kindness, which are very in-depth and beautiful. May you be at ease

I always tried to seek purest love but so far i have not met someone deserving, i always suffer. Todays world i think purest love not exist or its my badluck im always surrounded by fake people. I just learnt never to expect and rely on someone.

Something I get stuck on, and I'm curious what others here might think, but there are a number of groups in this world that are dedicated to hatred, and eradication of various other groups (for instance, as with antisemitism, transphobia, you get the picture). Basically, I'm unsure how to unconditionally love people who actively desire to harm others that are just trying to live their lives. Not trying to be a contrarian here, just genuinely looking for some answers. ☮
Unconditional love comes only from God. It doesn't exist in this world. That is the truth and accept it.
