just ordered a pair of the micro monitors and i am beyond excited. almost pulled the trigger on the MTMs though. it's about damn time i got something proper for my setup. I've mainly been referencing on my studio headphones. yes, cry. cry for me.

It would be great if IK would put the ARC technology into a small 2-XLR-in-2-XLR-out box that you could put between your monitor controller and your monitors so that you could use the technology with any setup. The big disadvantage of the ARC software is that it was to be hosted by a DAW. A small set top box that could perform the same calibration feature for any set of monitors that you are working on would be ideal, and it would be much less expensive to produce and sell.

I bought rogue amoeba sound source, which lives in your menu bar (on Mac) and can host au plugins, so I have arc3 running in there to be used system wide. It works really well and now I don’t have to remember to bypass arc when bouncing in logic. It was $29 I think and well worth it.
