I’d say the original version of snow whites adventures would be my personal number one, and I also wanna mention the underrated original version of the Alice in wonderland ride that was just pure nightmare fuel

I can listen to Phantom Manor content endlessly, there's never "too much" Phantom Manor in my opinion 😂💕💕💕

I saw "It's Tough to be a Bug" when I was only 6. My dad had to take me out of the attraction because I was so terrified.
The Dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom terrified me as a 5 year old
Me too. We rode it as a family when I was 5 as well, and it scared the absolute SHIT out of me. It’s also one of those rides where there’s a camera that takes your picture during it, and ours showed me trying to hide my face underneath my jacket.

I'd argue the original Magic Kingdom iteration of Snow White was the scariest attraction at any Disney park. It's scarier than most haunted houses I've been on. There's no soundtrack through most of it other than wind, screams, and the evil witch cackling. There's plenty of jump scares where she pops up or runs toward the riders. It's like you're in a horror movie being chased by this malevolent, supernatural entity trying to kill you. I've never seen such horrifying trees in my life. The ending is a very "haunted house" one where it seems the witch wins by making the diamond fall on you, with no "happy ending". On top of that, the old Disney, analog, plastic feel of everything makes it especially uncanny.
I'm actually glad they rethemed that ride. It follows the story of the movie more closely, still has the cool mirror reveal of the queen turning into the witch, and has a happy ending that leaves the riders on a high note. Yes, the original movie had some creepy parts, but nothing like the nightmare fuel of that original ride.
A bugs life attraction is like "Spider! A giant legion of spiders!"
You forgot to put the original Magic Kingdom version of Snow White that was there even before Snow White's Scary adventures. The version you included was the toned down version. I would consider the original one so terrifying it should not just be higher than the toned down version but should even be #1 by far.
Tower of Terror scared 9 year old me so badly that I had a phobia of elevators for a long time 😂

My senior year in high school my school band went to Disney world. I REFUSED to go on ITTBAB. I was told of the scare factor firsthand.
OMG, my mom asked a cast member if the Dinosaur ride was scary, and he said it wasn't! My little brother was terrified, and my mom was pissed.
You made an excellent point about how breaking the 4th wall can make a ride scary! A lot of early Disney rides were set to be in the hero's perspective, like Alice or Mr Toad, but even then, people didn't like that. They'd rather be a bystander than be directly into the action.

My grandpa always used to say it was Haunted Mansion. The times we had. He will probably be the 1000 happy haunt.
haunted mansion/Phantom manor are my favorite rides in the world (including haunted mansion holiday) but i feel they should not be on this list because they are not Intended to be scary. They are Intended to be a kwerky fun ride for any age (hence grim grinning ghosts) Great video as usual 😀 also the corridor of doors is my favorite scene!!! :) I love those sounds! :)
I mean, I'd say that they're still intended to be "scary" just very low key. There's definitely darker tones in both versions (ESPECIALLY the Phantom Manor - I mean, her dad murdered all of her fiances, holy crap). It may not be frightening to adults, but if you look around at all the small children riding them, they're almost always scared and crying. It seems like there's usually a dad trying to cheer them up.

i went to the bugs life show for my bday when i was 5 and i cried. i wanted to leave disney for the day. i also did thre dinospur ride and now i cant go on dino rides

yeah, we all knew alien encounter was coming to be first, though we still need to know where poor clinch is, shes the alien animatronic in the ride.
the winnie the pooh ride is kinda creepy imo
some attractions are romantic some are funny some are exciting and some are really scary indeed!
The Haunted Mansion scares me to this day and I am a full grown adult...
Guys, I went on tower of terror when I was 5, came off crying. I went on at 10, came off crying. I went at 16, came off like THIS WAS EPIC. My mom was so loud, my dad wont go on it. Tower of Terror, I really like now.

Th show white ride scares me all time whenever I get on it in the beginning when the creepy lady pops out 😂
I was at Hollywood Studios last fall and found Mickey and Minnie’s Runway Railroad unmemorable and not very appealing, especially with many screens. I prefer sophisticated, lifelike animatronics and would have loved to see The Great Movie Ride.

I was a kid before snow white’s scary adventures closed and got to ride it a few times. I was never afraid of that ride. In fact, I loved the ride! All the people calling it a scary ride obviously are scared of everything cause it was not that scary. I would put it even before haunted mansion. Snow white’s scary adventures was not that scary and I’m mad people lied about it to shut it down. It’s a lie, it wasn’t scary.
