In the many years I've been in the space, I've yet to see any video or gameplay footage of this high production quality. Let's blow this video up! It cannot be stated how much work is apparent that you've put into this project. It's nice seeing both Dylan and Aggron in another in person event :) The competition up in Texas continues to get better and better every year, I'm excited to see how the scene develops up there.
This is THE best way to watch back live games!! The overlays have so much valuable information for the viewers and its not intrusive in any way. We can still see the players, their body language, and their reactions. Flat out amazing work putting this together!!! If you're a fan of Catan, want more of this kind of content, and support the people who do this - like, share, comment and do whatever you can to get this out there!!
So so cool how easy you made this game to follow even though it was in person!! Hoping I could potentially make it to a tournament in Austin in the future
As fun as the gameplay was, my favorite part was realizing how many features you put onscreen for a live game. Usually games like these are nigh unwatchable. But at first it’s like “oh sweet, there’s a dice tracker!” And then “oh sweet, they’re showing the hands too!” The little infographics on seven stats, unlucky streaks, 7 rolls was chill. And the occasional commentary to point out key moments was fantastic. I found myself agreeing that Dylan should have been the first rob.
Dylan's right! Translated notes i wrote while watching the game and manually tracked all the cards, actions, etc. Glad you liked it and thanks for the comment!
Varman screwed placements so that dylan as first got that nice 2 pick and expansion spot and longest road prospect. I dont think dylan would have won with "normal" placements
Soooo....did Aggron lie about his dev card? I don't think so. Dylan made an assumption and was wrong (something that happens countless times by many players at any Catan table).
And also he agreed to the terms of the trade, which included playing a knight. That would be like you saying “I’ll trade you a brick for a wheat” and then when you had me the wheat I say “oh you just assumed I had a brick.
@@alikassam5403 I hear what you're saying. To me, Dylan only stated what he wanted (a knight played) before he traded the wheat but was never something he formally got an agreement from. All Aggron verbally agreed to (which to me constitutes if he's culpable of lying or not) before the trade is that he wouldn't cut Dylan off. Ironically during that interaction when discussing the possible trade, Dylan said at 21:44 he didn't care what card he was being traded, but when Aggron asked if he was okay with a brick, Dylan requested a sheep, so Dylan did ultimately care (and Dylan later made the same claim much later in the game about not caring what card he was traded, but than clarified when someone countered with something he didn't want. Maybe both parties lied during that interaction then and there was an element of deception. No condemnation on either player or their gameplay though. I think it is a good example of specifically clarifying terms before any transaction as it's easy to get sidetracked talking about other aspects of the game. P.S. - sorry about the lengthy response. I'm on vacation and don't have much going on 😅
@ I think the more interesting thing is that Dylan didn’t make him play the dev before completing the trade. Why would you exchange cards before the player plays the knight.
how are these pros? varman traded dylan his victory; aaron fails to see he has no chance in getting roads and should give them to varman; saxon forgets to roll?!?! lol
@@HakunaMatataCatanmaybe , but would be better to hold it to protect yourself , its seen later in the game hes newer player or at least not that experienced as other 3 . Still a great game to watch and listen to table talk

THAT WAS EPIC! WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART?!
pro player forgetting to roll the dice twice in a row. Def a highlight for me xD

Thank you oansun! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The goat!
❤
This is incredible! Was it done using CV or some type of AI and able to track live or is this all done manually?
I believe it was done manually. Which is honestly incredible and a ton of work.
Dylan's right! Translated notes i wrote while watching the game and manually tracked all the cards, actions, etc. Glad you liked it and thanks for the comment!
Great work @hakuna this is highest quality monitoring I’ve seen in a game.
Dylan be looking like he's ready to take out some CEOs
Hahahaha very true! Some memeable faces here for sure
I'm going to watch every videos that you work on if they look like this.
Thanks stratelus! That means a lot! More to come!!!

Dylan outbrained and outsmarted Aaron

Great point! I think many would agree with you!
Well he definitely lied about what he was going to do with the cards he received.

Dyl won! hell yeah!
Aggron is definitely the king of BTT

lol
Please make them hire you for the official tournaments, the quality in those livestreams is, to say the least, pathetic.
haha thanks Spock! Will say that livestreaming is a-whole-nother I still gotta learn how to tackle!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
On 23 minutes i can see why varman was the lowest elo player on the table , what was that agressive knight and solo for 1 in 1000 wood 🤔
Im with ya, but maybe he was trying to send a message to the rest of the table!! ;)
@@HakunaMatataCatanmaybe , but would be better to hold it to protect yourself , its seen later in the game hes newer player or at least not that experienced as other 3 . Still a great game to watch and listen to table talk
@@jostklevze749 100% agree!
Varman kinda ruined the game tbh.
Aaron is one of the most annoying people I've ever seen play Catan. Other than that it was entertaining. Nice win Dylan!
