Manu Bhaker creates history by notching up India’s first medal at the Olympics in 10m air pistol event. The 22 year old also became India’s first female shooter to win a medal at an Olympics event. Manu fell 0.1 behind South Korea’s Kim Yeji to finish third and win a historic Bronze medal for India. Catch Manu’s Exclusive interaction with PM Narendra Modi as Rupha Ramani reviews this monumental achievement in our special Olympics coverage, Mission Paris.

I think plenty of people have shown that since 776 BCE and credit goes to the athlete before the country.

@@tedmink7568 Glorius Bharat showed the world how to live 5 thousand years ago. In 776 BCE Greece invented the olympics which does the opposite of bridging peace-that's my humble opinion. Hitler would be laughing in his grave.

@deepakbhana8937 Pseudo Patriotism is a curse. That was not at all my point. The Ancient Greeks ideals for Atheleticism were built through the Olympic Games starting from 776 BCE. The vision of ressurecting the games in the Modern World came from a Frenchman named Pierre de Coubertin. All athletes, irrespective of nation, show the beauty of athleticism, dedication and prowness in this spirit. Not everything around you is India.
