- With Persona 3 Reload due out, I wanted to try my hand at the original in a new light. Being that my only experience with Persona 3 is through Portable, I wanted to see what 3D did to transform that experience. Not only that, but also seeing tons of new events, story moments, and the infamous "Episode Aegis." How did it shape my experience as we head into the remake? Let's dig in and discuss.

A very trustworthy leaker has said that The Answer is coming to Reload as DLC later on.
Reload being censored is a big nope.
The script in Reload is a huge downgrade from FES. I'd say about 30% of the dialog has been changed. I can't stand Junpei and Yukari anymore knowing how interesting their dynamic and personalities used to be
Eh I still think the FES: The Answer version is still better.
One version of the Japanese version of Persona 3 FES is called the "Append" version (the one with all of the social links on the cover) which just has "The Answer" and the additional FES content, which requires you to own base Persona 3 in order to play. The other one is the complete version of FES, which is what ended up getting localized in the west.
I just started playing persona 3 reload. I've beaten the other two versions and love this game inside and out. The remake is so good so far.

Persona 3 narrative and character wise is my favorite one, the themes in this game are so heavy and the execution is so INCREDIBLE! 💙
I got into the Persona series in a weird way. I started with Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, just because I occasionally enjoy rhythm games and liked the music. Then I felt that I knew a lot about the characters by the end of it, and I was on a 3DS craze at the time so I next played Persona Q (using the P3 protagonist). I loved that game, so naturally I decided I go back and play P3FEZ (which I just picked up from the PS3 store, since I was against owning consoles back then that didn't have a HDMI port, although I have a RetroTINK now so I'm past that phase lol).
This was my fav version for sure, glad to see a video on it 👍

I have the original persona 3 release that comes with an artbook and soundtrack cd. I remember reading about it in a magazine before it came out. I was in high school back then and being edgy and emo was all the craze so the way of summoning your persona was super interesting.
It’s persona 3 reload day it’s finally fucking here. Loved the original when I was younger cant wait to start reload

I played Persona 3 FES back when it first came out and bounced off hard. Everybody was saying how good it was but I just didn't get it. I was weary of playing 4 after that but I did and loved it. The same for 5. So I always thought of 3 as the one that got away. So now I have a second chance with Reload. Can't wait to play it.
