How much weight will SafeFloor add to my boat? SafeFloor will add about 3/4 of a pound per square foot installed. To put this into perspective, that equates to 28% added weight over closed-cell foam flooring. On a fiberglass hull craft, this will not affect your draft at all. For aluminum hull craft, this will increase your draft by under 1/2 inch.

Does that material get as hot as bare fiberglass in the sun? Cut down on glare? Good on bare feet?

It does cut down on glare feels amazing on your bare feet and it’s no warmer than any other product if it’s 100 degrees outside.
