    Thanks for that great information. I am considering doing the floor only on my 1998 Ranger and your installation video may have swayed me away from another product. Very informative thanks. 👍

    Im going to do this on my center console. I think towards the end of the last coat im going to splash some black paint all over it to break up the look. I saw one while it fishing recently looked really good.

      That sounds like a great idea! I bet it will look really good and the broken pattern may help hide dirt.

    looks great!!!!! how was it pulling the blue tape off?? i see some still on the side?? would you have pulled it off sooner??? im looking to do the floor of my bayliner!!! thanks 🤙🤙🤙

      Thanks! I think if I pulled it off sooner, maybe the glue wouldn’t have stayed on my
      Fiberglass as well. But also would have to re mask between coats.

    I’m currently working on our boat floor and notice the pinkish colored thick coating that you were sanding over. What is that? Some of ours came off attached to the old carpet and I’m not sure what to replace it with.

      I think it’s fiberglass resin. Far from an expert though. Good luck on the floor! Are you going with carpet?

    I think you were supposed to leave the primer sit for 30 min after mixing the 2 parts for it to do it’s chemical bonding.

      Really? I may have missed that step. Makes sense though. Thanks for watching and catching that.

    Does it stay cooler on the bare feet when it’s 80 degrees out?

      Thanks for watching. Sorry, overlooked some comments recently. It stays cooler than the carpet in my opinion.

    How has this held up for you?

    • @ScruffyCityFishing
      @ScruffyCityFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      I made a follow up 1 year video if you want to see all the details, but it’s held it’s pretty well over all. It’s harder to clean than I anticipated, but really tough stuff.

    Need to remove the tape while it is still wet.

      Thanks for watching. That crossed my mind but I was worried about over brush with the 2nd and 3rd coats.

    How is coating holding up?

      So far, really well. It does get dirty easier than I anticipated. I guess really it’s just hard to scrub as it’s very grippy.
