I have a problem with my xbox 360 slim s, its always restart and beeping and I already remove the flexible cable on faceplate and still restart and beeping. Pls help me what's the problem and what component need to replace. Thanks
Do you need to put screws back into the Xbox 360. Or the whole shell? One night i took our family Xbox apart because it wasn't working but i saved some of the important parts like the fan, the disk drive and the little USB thing you plug into the back. Apparently i threw away all the plastic and i am missing a cord for the extra storage area. I really wish I did more research at that time when i was 14 but mistakes happen. Would it be better to just try to find a new Xbox 360 and plug in old parts or to try to find everything i need?
If the manufacturer put a screw there its there for a reason so yes you should put back in all screws. I ordered a replacement motherboard/disk drive for my xbox360 slim from your website. They look very similar but the replacement is missing the 4pin connector for the hard drive, and the controller pair/sync button. I only see one option on your website.

I had a 360 slim and the disc drive went out replaced it and then it would only play movies but not games then found out about the chip that reads the disc but I got a 360 slim again and a buddy gave it to me it will power on but it won't pull up the Xbox 360 screen just powers on but shows nothing on TV do you know what would possibly be the issue on it. I'm watching this video to check the components on the mother board check the fan for dust because I don't even hear the fan kicking on but it is but I feel no air coming out im doing the basic of what I learned over time but however what would cause my issue and what would help it and what would help with disc drive replacement to get games to read again and not just movies.

need to be careful using t8 drivers on the smaller screws, ended up stripping the heatsink screws fortunately t9 works with all those screws with a better fit.
Hey, I need to replace one of the resistors on my 360 Slim RF board, R67. Do you know the specs for this resistor? Is is a 0603? Is it 30 ohm? I read on a thread that I can just use a jumper from another resistor, is this correct? ANY info you can give would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Yes that's what most videos do, they miss out on key details. That's why our videos are longer because I go through every step.
How do you disengage the clips??? Im doing exactly what you're doing and its not budging at all!
Pull up on the trim as you disengage the clips as I did.

I can't remove the hard drive caddy/bay plastic piece it seems like it'll break if I keep pulling
There is a screw at the back of the console you have to remove at 18:14

Try replacing the controller first but it could be an rf board or network chip issue both are replaceable

Remove the hard drive and try again
Any suggestions or tips for the red dot of death?
Get an error code by holding down the sync and eject button when the red dot comes on. We are going to be doing a video on this soon.

Lift up at the same time you insert the tool.

Could be a mechanical issue with the disc drive or a problem with the disc drive logic board.

I messed with trying to pry the top off from the outside and this method literally took me 5 seconds. Haha
