Queen. This album is everything. While Golden Hour was a beautiful and bright album, this album encompasses just the same amount of emotion but from a darker side. Her vocals, visuals, and lyrics are EVERYTHING this era.

I love KM and I did buy the album although I think it’s over produced. She has a fairly delicate voice and it’s hard to appreciate it over all the production. I hope they do an acoustic version.

At first I was kinda hesitant about listening to Kacey's new Album. I've cried, laughed, and danced to every piece of work this woman's ever put out. I love her individualism as an artist, her witty lyrics and the way she tells it like it is. I think I was worried that I wouldn't like her new music as much. Maybe the fact that it wasn't gonna be all Dimestore cowgirl vibes from here on out, or that golden hour has faded to black, maybe that was a bit hard for me to fathom. But then I heard 'Star-crossed' and 'Justified' and I was like oh sh*t here we go. Now I feel guilty for even thinking the thought that I wasn't gonna love and appreciate it. There's so much emotion in this album, it was a necessary step for Kacey's evolution and I just hope that the outside world will see that and value that. Brilliant, she's f***ckin brilliant! Love you Kacey.
Her bravery & creativity to take on music "norms' is unmatched in the music industry today.

I literally had never heard of Kacey Musgraves but I've listened to this song everyday since this performance. I can't stop playing it! Not even a country music fan but this song transcends genres. It's hauntingly amazing! I'm officially a fan! #star-crossed

You are me, not too versed in country music, but when I saw her on SNL doing Golden Hour tracks I was mesmerized by her voice. And then I now know by heart all of her albums and songs (even the Christmas albums, plural) and I've seen all of her specials and I witnessed all of her Grammys from GH, and then I volunteered at our local folk festival because she performed there and she was killer, and then yes #star-crossed is amazing, it's my default album to press play on. I'm an obsessed straight male in my forties. Kacey Musgraves rules!
