i usually hate a monochromatic house, specially when it's all white, but this one actually has personality. as someone who's followed kacey career for a very long time, i can tell she was hands on with the decorating and it wasn't solely done by a professional. you can tell all the art is actually meaningful to her.
Same, I'm not really for all white but she has made it feel cosy and personal with amazing textures, mementos and antique finds. I don't really know her music but she seems like a really cool women.
What makes it different is that the off white is more like complex creams, more on the warmer side, combined with pops of color and whimsical decor items all over
For sure, I think this is monochromatic done well, has a ton of natural light, some tonal shifts, texture and different materials, just enough color accents, no typical cheesy celeb art, her plants, and the additional greenery thanks to prop styling
@Jj K Yes still reads as monochromatic but you can see the nuances and undertones among the uniformity of the color, that is why is called complex, and that is why it is more comforting and cozier to the senses and easier on the eyes. One single color as base, which is the white, and the colors on the accessories compliment the white base, to give it interest and warmth. Definitely one of the best executed I had seen too.
Interior design aside, you can tell just how intelligent and well-spoken she is by how she describes everything in the home. I didn't really know much about Kacey before watching this video, but you can really appreciate her personality and authenticity here.

She has a very good eye for the meaningful art and collectables she has, the things that make a home, that sets it apart and makes it very personal. It’s refreshing to hear her interests in pottery and estate sales, finding the gems to enhance her home. The pine would probably be happier outside for most of the year, what a sculptural beauty. I really enjoyed this one.

Out of every single home I've seen on this series, Kacey's home looks like a real HOME. It looks cozy, warm, and inviting. I love it and normally I'm into light colored homes where the theme is either all white, yellow, or periwinkle but, this works.

Honestly, not into country and had no clue who Kacey is, had to Google her. But after watching this video I'm impressed with her home and her persona that came through so shining. There's very little I'd change in her home, really relaxing and well put together.
Uhm I already love Kacey Musgraves so her interest in interior design and art just made me love her even more. What was so nice to see was just how organic her home looked and the way she explained everything. Hearing her speak, you really see her in this home. Like it feels natural. I think sometimes celebs feel so pressured to outdo each other that they hyperstyle their houses and it shows. They talk about how they rushed to change something before AD came because some other celeb had a better thing. They do alot of stuff just for the shoot and then it feels staged and not like anyone lives there at all. This is different. I'm generally obsessed with interior design (would spend all my time watching HGTV if i could) so i love watching videos like this but again, sometimes they feel staged and inorganic but Kacey's was the nicest one for a while now. She has a genuinely amazing eye for design and despite being as immaculate and perfectly styled as it is, it feels natural. She picked everything out herself and put old pieces of hers in it. It's just beautiful.

LOVE your house! My favorite thing is, of course, the fabulous natural light that washes over iverything. My 2nd fave is all the furniture pieces that curve inward (couches, dining room chairs, bed footboard) - it’s like you have little hugs everywhere! And I do love Nadine. 😍
