Thanks for doing all this experimenting. There are a lot of younger riders who want to go faster on their Lites (not me, I'm 80 years old) but I see their comments all the time on the two Facebook Lectric Lite groups that I contributor to. If you get this sorted out, you should get a lot of buyers for the controller or display that will unlock the speed limit. Meanwhile, I really like the dual battery balancer on my own Lite. Thanks for creating it.
Thanks for putting in the work and research for this! Results were pretty much what I expected. Not a total loss 'cause discharge balancer still works like a champ.
Biggest thing I learned from this video is that Lectric needs to sort their shit out on that wiring. All you need is the 2 hard wired in to the battery, 1 plug for the display, one going to the motor and 1 for the brakes. Their current setup is messy as hell. Like a child wired it up. It's also all very exposed and should be tied up into weatherproof plugs.
Hello, I just finished seeing your video and I wanted to ask you if the plan is to get a display & Aftermarket Controller to those who wish to upgrade for one reason or another. If the upgrade will work on most lectric models. Over on Area 13, Kyle did something I though was genius, he got a display & controller upgrade that worked on most Rad Bikes. I benefited from that because I currently own a Rad Step Thru 1 and the power and other benefits are amazing. "Great Job Kyle!' As it turns out, I just recently purchased a Lectric Xpedition which I would also like to upgrade the Display & Controller for a few reasons. One of the reasons is I would like to use the cruise control at full speed and also by just giving it throttle only and not be limited to 20 mph unless if you peddle to get more speed. Let me know if you plan on doing this, if this is the intention of this video. Also Great Video!
I want the controller that you tested for the xp 2.0 ...I really do not care about all the others so why would i have to wait unitl you test them all ...... Why would you even do a video if you have no plans of releasing it until who knows when ... That is a bad way of doing business if you ask me !!!
I found the supplier of these controllers. It took some time to find it but you can do the same. From the looks of it this guy will buy them then sell on his website. So I cannot post the link in his channel have a good day man.

@@ElectricAllWheel I am not trying to piss anyone off , but you posted the video and if it was me I would have not posted the video until all the testing was done . Did you not think that people like myself would want it ASAP? See I do not live in Florida and i cannot ride all year round LIKE YOU , So in turn I AM NOT gonna wait 6 months until you do what you have to do. By the time you finish waht you are doing , testing , then you have get them from the supplier ..... It is looking like you will not have them for a few months ...and that is not a good thing . So in the meantime i am looking ofr other ways to make my bike better , if even needed to buy another bike which i am looking at.... Then i will not need the controller that you are still sitting on .

15amps to 18amps? Why such a small upgrade? Get yourself a controller that pumps out at least 25amps for a start.

When you test rode the Lite with the XP 2.0 display you got up to 17mph in PAS 1 So if you changed it to PAS 5 would you go faster?
