House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee leaders say they're more concerned than ever about religious persecution worldwide.
Half of the world's population can't freely practice their faith. That's why there's a call for America to apply more pressure on two specific countries about adhering to human rights.

The United States does need to use our voice to speak out about persecution in China, Nigeria and India. Christians and other religious minorities are suffering greatly in these three particular countries. We shouldn't allow this on our watch. We also need to speak out about persecuting of Armenian Christians. ✝️

I guess the main issue is that everyone everywhere is entitled to practise what they believe in. Whether it's Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism or any other religions. No society, people or even state can dictate what we can or can't believe in. That is tantamount to extreme oppression & despicable tyranny. Yes yes I was saying the same thing about this report I think the Islamic world is the biggest oppressors of non-muslims. You're here Muslim minorities persecuted in India.. I think Muslims are so aggressive in promoting their faith only and there's no religious fairness. Muslims are fighting Muslims in these countries that's why there's so many refugees coming to Europe if there was more peace among Muslims in these countries they would not be so many migrants coming to Europe.. the face of Europe has changed in these 30+ seemed too much diversity.. unlike in Muslim occupied countries you'll see no diversity at all. You look at Turkey it supposed to be the most progressive of Muslim countries. But you'd never know it with it president in power for twenty years. He's been trying to turn his country into a caliphate. Eastern one of the largest and very famous Christian church the Hagia Sophia back into a mosque July 24th, 2021. And constant harassment of the in Constantinople/Istanbul in the longest time trying to exile the Christian Church where is the religious diversity living in constant fear. In my opinion I can understand that Indians just fed up with that aggressiveness of its Muslim neighbors and feeling the pressure and tension on both sides.. And also I think India doesn't want any thing to do with the Christian Churches being under British rule under British for say 200 years. Man I come on here to say hi to a Buddhist (I may be a white witch but I'm a mix and I do have Buddhas and believe in reincarnation too) then I see comments trying to once again change someone's mind about their beliefs saying theirs is right which everyone seems to do a lot in other sects too. People if you believe in something that is a good thing but pushing it onto others when they are already happy where they are and basically persecuting the guys religious views which he has not done to you so why are you trying so hard to persecute someone when this is happening to your people around the world? You are more concerned about telling another person what you believe and forcing your beliefs on them than you are for prayer for your fellow Christian man. Sounds hypocritical to me with all you speak about love and forgiveness. I'm not trying to condemn your beliefs either that is not my intention here. As a Sri lankan catholic I can proudly say that Sri lanka is a free country for all religions and races thanks to the buddhist culture. Nonviolence, peace and love are some of the core teachings in buddhism (correct me if im wrong) and I think buddhist people are the most tolerant among all the other religions. I'm from India and there is a lot of religion discrimination....and its very hard to practice faith ..recently one girl's car is burned and rocks are thrown at her house with a note that if you practice christianity we will kill you ( she converted from hinduism to christianity) .... the prime minister says that there is no discrimination but political people under him spread hatred and even the news channel spread hatred about other religion....I'm not sure whether prime minister knows about this hatred or not but its really hard to preach
