I just started reading the Bible. I'm 36 years old, never read it. I've also signed up for Bible studies on Tuesdays. I think I'm finally starting to understand faith. It's an inexplainable feeling.
One of the things that has pushed me in this direction, is witnessing the amount of people who denounce God. Much of the world has become Godless, and we have lost our way. I could see that years ago before I ever thought of reading the Bible. I knew that without God, we are lost. And we are. But we can all be saved.
There's more to salvation than just believing in God Brandon. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
in Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy God shall take away his part out if the book of life and out of the holy city and the things which is written in this book

They might rewrite the bible but they can never change the message that is already written in the Hearts of those who believe our Lord Jesus Christ. He is God and will make marvelous miracles for His people. Our Lord Jesus Christ will return, and those that didn't believe will crumble in fear when they see Him.

The miracle for those who aren't saved, is that God will give them a new heart, to those who come with a contrite, repentant heart. That before I was a Christian, I loved to do what was wrong, but God will give you a new heart that loves righteousness, And all you need to do is repent and trust in the savior. The law show us in truth, like a mirror: a moral mirror, If you've lied, stolen, blasphemed or committed adultery, you'd be guilty in Gods eye, and if God wanted, he could kill us all and be justified in doing so. As a Chinese who was raised up as Christian and attend church regularly, I can reassure my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ about this rewriting bible incident. This incident does not really affect most Christian in China, as I know most Chinese Churches value tradition, and they all use the bible version called 和合本 (or Chinese Union Version) which is translated in 1919. Although multiple versions of Chinese bible was published over the century, they still stick to the most original version, despite it is as hard to read as KJV. So, unless the government really go that far to force all church to use the rewritten Bible, that really will not have much impact. But, the persecutions and shutting down churches are real, please pray for the Christians in China to have freedom to worship.

Devils have rewritten the English AUTHORIZED VERSION, the KJB, since 1880. There are now hundreds of new bibles on the market that are NOT the word and words of God. The NASV has 36,000 words less than the Authorized Version and the NIV 64,000 words less. This is the equivalent of removing every book from the middle of the book of Acts through Revelation - 22 books. That's 64,000 words! Jesus said man does not live by bread alone but by EVERY word of God.

No. We have as close to the original texts as any historic texts. Even non-believing historins admit that the Bible is historicaly accurate. The dead sea scrolls added to this. The Bible is very accurate. Search "manuscript evidence for the bible" on youtube or "cold case christianity 4 gospels" you will find the truth.
The reason people talk about "the bible has been changed" because languages have evolved. The wrighting has been updated to be more readable for modern people. But the story and salvation stays the same.
Someday they will confiscate your Bibles. Memorize scripture. Write them on paper and hide them.

I had a dream of The Bible being slightly changed/rewritten. There's a reward that is waiting for the people who've done this sin, they are going to live to regret this.
I would not trust a Bible that has been written after the first war, as the British overtook the Israelites (taking control of things) and had their own children by them, and then wacked off the Israelites off in the 2nd world war, and then bring up their generation of the blue-eyed Jews, (True Jews never had blue eyes) and now the British and the British Jews (Blue eyed, like Hitlers army) have gotten into your Bible and changed many things. Although it speaks truth, it does not tell the full truth like it did. My great uncle Hardy was shot down in his B29 they all made it out in parachutes but after the pow camp he was the only one from his flight crew to survive the story's he told of the conditions and treatment in the camp were appalling.

No. We have as close to the original texts as any historic texts. Even non-believing historins admit that the Bible is historicaly accurate. The dead sea scrolls added to this. The Bible is very accurate. Search "manuscript evidence for the bible" on youtube or "cold case christianity 4 gospels" you will find the truth.
The reason people talk about "the bible has been changed" because languages have evolved. The wrighting has been updated to be more readable for modern people. But the story and salvation stays the same.

The bible stands for itself and is supported by history, fulfilled prophesy and archaeology.
