300,000-Member Indian Church to Plant 40 More Megachurches - What's Their Secret?

- HYDERABAD, India - Calvary Temple is India's largest church with more than 300,000 members. Now, it's on a mission to build 40 more megachurches in the next 10 years.
Most roads in Hyderabad on Sundays lead to Calvary Temple. Shortly after 4 a.m., side streets around the church here are already jammed.
As church volunteers coordinate traffic, shuttle buses, auto rickshaws, and motorcycles ferry thousands of people, all trying to get here two hours ahead of Calvary's first of five services that begin at 6 a.m.
By sunrise, the faithful have taken their seats.

As an American, my first thought was to pray that this church does not fall to the worldy sickness that megachurches in the west tend to fall into and promote. I don't have problem with genuine christianity and devotion but here in India these most of these pastors convert by three ways:
1) Money allurement (MLM system among pastors)
2) Mocking of other religions
3) Fake miracles (they even employ actors for that!)
My friend got an offer for money for conversion to christianity.
Mark my words - these material allurements will not last long they will only lead to atheism and nhilism (what we are seeing now in west). Only people with genuine devotion will persist.

As an Indian I can surely say contemporary India is more Christian than the western Christian nations. Though the official Christian population is 2.5% in reality it would be around 10-12%. God's grace is on our country. Keep us in your prayers.

Praise Jesus for what is happening with this church. I am in a tiny town in Australia, and we generally have between 4 and 8 people come to our church. We are praying and believing for the Holy Spirit to flow through this place and bring revival. I have a vision that one day we will be able to have a designated church building that we can run services, outreaches and charity programs through and further bless the people of the community.
