Excellent review and video. I have 4 Shamans in my collection and love them all. One of the best knives I own. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! 🙌🏼
Thank you so much for doing a comparison against budget knives. The Shaman will be my first “big boy” knife and it’s great to size compare it against something I actually own. You’re a thorough and well-rounded reviewer.
Thanks 🙏. I like doing that cause when I started my budget was much more reserved so it would be nice to know alternatives and as you said be able to relate it to something I know personally 👍
The new bodacious seems to change all the stuff you wish they would change.
💯
I've always wanted a shaman in my collection but I never pulled the trigger yet. I really want to find one in 15v and pimp it out with different scales and maybe a custom hollow ground blade.
Shaman is such as awesome model 👍
Trade ya an m4 black ticn bhq exclusive lnib smock in jade g10 for that shaman. That shaman is my style. Nice video!
I have that smock too 👍🏼
If they removed the nub, we'd be getting blade in the space of the compression lock. It might not be as bad as in the Tropen but it would be enough to give a bad cut.
Very close to the Manix 2, as well.
Honestly the manix 2 might be the better but tbh 👍
S20v yojimbo2 🤔 I have one just like that with cpm 20cv. Maybe you got a special edition 🤙🏻
Super custom 😂
Looks like you will get your wish with the Bodacious coming out.
Heck yeah, can wait 🙌
What camera do you use? It is good quality.
I have been using my iPhone 13 pro max lately. I was using my Sony A6400 I a lot of the earlier footage.
@@jd4edc I have the same phone. I love it. Thanks, Happy New Year
@@SteveHinrichs happy new year my friend 👍🏼
Where did you buy the Shaman? They are out of stock everywhere.
I lucked out, NCblade.com got a few in and they sold out fast. It is sounding like manufactures are going to catch up a lot in the beginning if 2022.
@@jd4edc Thanks!
Good luck, sign up for them alerts. 👍🏼
That damn cut in 😂
😂 dayum 🙌
The Manix 2 is a great EDC knife, no doubt about it. The Shaman was designed for sustained, heavier use. It has a slightly different purpose than that of the Manix 2, and is a bit more specialized.
Anyway, when you’re using sprint run exclusive models for comparison, you really should mention it. If someone didn’t know better; they might think that the standard Yojimbo 2 is 20CV. It would be great if that were true, but Spyderco is still using S30V as the standard on the above models, (and many others), and ya need to make that clear.
You are very mistaken. Even in Spyderco’s own 2021 catalog, they clearly states S45VN is the standard and the Paramilitary 2 and Para 3 knives.
Hate to see you going around posting false information there friend.
Also, shouldn’t make a difference what steel my size comparison knives are, being they are just for scales. You should consider what you’re saying before you post. Have a good day. 👍
@@jd4edc Oops, I was wrong on the PM2. I sold it short. 😬 My point stands when it comes to the Yojimbo 2. Thanks for the content, and have a good one.
