The R500X1Dcomes with a remote bass control giving you the ability to change bass levels on the fly.
This amp is a solid 5.1lbs, has an Operational voltage of 9-16V and is just over 8.5" in length

What gauge wire did u use ?
Ok I know I’m hella late but what can I use for my remote punch wire for the bass knob ? I need a replacement for my knob the old one got cut off unfortunately
Hey bro try to order it straight from rockford fosgate web site.
I tried Amazon but it was the wrong one
Queremos escuchar ya conectado amigo 😀
What gauge wires ? 4 or 8? Online says 8 but my friend who had the R500X1D before me used 4gauge
4 gauge wires work perfectly, that's what j us3d
@@mino-d-ng3642 8 gauge wire is SMALLER than 4 gauge!
if you are reading this... PLEASE DO NOT USE NO NAME SHITTY ALUMINUM WIRE (copper clad aluminum or cca) ONLY USE OFC(oxygen free copper).... I recommend Knuconceptz 4 gauge OFC kit. One of the best, most well rounded kits around. period. excellent value. Their wire is also tinned for anti corrosion. DON"T USE ALUMINUM WIRE IT IS A FIRE HAZARD! if you plan on installing a bigger amp later(600-1500w) USE 4 GAUGE . If you don't plan on upgrading ever than 8 gauge ofc is fine.
And what about when you have a factory head unit? There's no way to turn on the amp using the radio without PAC line to RCA converters. :(
I install my amp with the original head unit. You have to get the rca converters and tap it in the speakers wires in the back. I will do a video how to sometime later when I'm free
You can youtube how to convert rca for original head unit
@@mino-d-ng3642 Yeah, but the Scosche adapters things are crap. Tons of people on Amazon say that they come DOA or they work for a week or month and then stop working. The Audio Control one is $100 bucks and requires you to connect it to positive and negative to make it work. I paid $138 for this amp. The JL equivalent is nearly 4x the cost. amzn.to/3jsF7LV
@@mino-d-ng3642 Looks like I am going to be using this to enable to remote turn on and have a clear sound from the high level outputs from the radio: amzn.to/39hcblc
I got mine ffg or 20 bucks on amazon work perfectly
My speakers stopped working but I looked at the amp and I have a red and black wire that’s not inserted to the amp, everything else seems hooked up I have wires in the speaker ports so idk where these go
Bro the blk wires is for the negative and the red for positive, I'm guessing it's no on because that 2 wires gotta connected to the amp. Also check your fuse box
No fuse correct?
Yes fuse for the battery wire to the amp to add extra protection
When you say speaker you mean sub woofer?
On the amp it says speaker. I'm sure it goes without saying tho.
Really
