Holy jumpin'! DB Killer OUT or I am coming to NYC and removing it myself. LOL. The logo on that exhaust fits the sound. The roar of my people! I 100% recommend getting your bike tuned for the new setup if you still need to do so.
@@ducatinyc Take care of your ears. They are one of life’s most precious gifts. I’ve got some issues with mine. Some constant beeping in one ear, and somewhat reduced hearing in both of them. Still ok-ish for everyday life, but moving slowly in the wrong direction.
I've always gone with Termignoni but that Mivv is very nice - very well made. You can tell it's good quality when the mounting bracket lines up precisely first time. I think I'd run it with the baffle installed - especially if you're not having the ECU reflashed. Enjoy!
I do need to get ECU reflashed - i need to look into that. I've never had a Termi, only because everyone one of my friends always had. And i noticed same thing about the mounting braket and db killer all lining up nice :)
@@ducatinyc I had a Rexxer flash for my Monster 1100 and it transformed the fuelling - much better even than the DP ECU that came with the Termis. I see that Rexxer also covers your new Monster, so that might be an option. I sent my ECU to a Rexxer agent and it was back within five days, so a very easy and convenient process.
Thank you! I should and I"ve been thinking about it, still might, but I have not :) No issues at all but I'd imagine with a tune it will run even better
Sounds great! Here in Vancouver, the cops have really been cracking down on loud exhaust the last few years. I'm sure New York cops have bigger fish to fry.
After Change that, Do you have problem about Torque at low rpm? My friend comment when install decat pipe it effect to loss torque at low rpm(0-5000 rpm)
Sounds killer, looking forward to hear it in action. Why did you turn the tip cover inside to the wheel? For the logo to show better? Pretty sure it is designed to point up against rain ingress.
@@ducatinyc I was referring to the end of the exhaust. See how the end cover is split apart in one place? That's supposed to point downwards, not sideways, I believe.
@@vprwave Oh, due to the hang of the exhaust its impossible to put that in any other way besides to the side. I'd love to do what ur suggesting - would move the logo away too, but, not possible
Whatsup. I see you have a decat on your bike. I have a Hypermotard 950 with the same engine. These engines especially after 2020, run VERY lean. I see you removed the CAT and have a different exhaust on it. I highly suggest for you to go re tune your bike or ATLEAST get a different mail in Tune. I promise the difference is day and night and your monster will run 10x better (no joke). While your on it i highly suggest you remove your EVAP cannister also. This thing has been a headache for every Ducati owner and is the problem of Cold starts, stalling issues and sudden shutoffs during riding. All in all i really think you need a tune. This is not only for a having more power or running better engine, but also for the longterm of your bike. Having removed the cat and a race exhaust, you have to change ignition timing of the engine, otherwise it is gonna be short lived engine. Love the way the monster looks. Keep doing what youre doing.
Alot of good info here. Thank you. What do you think about the Rexxer Unit to do the ECU tune, or mailing it in to Rexxer? You recommend something other? Also, about the EVAP can, i removed it on my 620, i still got it on the 937 - been reading and folks are giving mixed reactions to the removal. What have you found from your experience ?
@@ducatinyc I would try a tune first. Rexxer seems like a reputable one. I recommend BHPUK from the UK or Upmap from Italy. BHPUK has a youtube channel and has a video on your motorcycle with tuning. They mail in the tune with the device and can do remote sessions if you want. Upmap has a dongle you connect to your bike and once you send them the data of your bike to them. They will send you back one adjusted to your bike. I would try BHPUK tho. The EVAP cannister you can remove if you have stalling, rough running or a sluggish throttle pickup, but i recommend doing that after the tune. If you are not gonna tune your bike instantly than i would do the EVAP removal. Takes around 60 minutes and there are plenty of companies selling kits.
DB out for sure. Gotta love that low rumble and growl even if your neighbors don’t.
Been running it with it out the last few days - its a bit of a mind fuk, its a THICK SOUND
I look forward to hearing this exhaust on the streets, that's where you hear the complete instrumental of the exhaust.
Oh the rumble is coming :)
A deep tone. It sounds nice. May he serve well!
Oh its DEEEEEEP :) So far so good.

Haha DB is out I swear! And yea, I hear that more and more, might have to tune afterall.
You’ve inspired me.. I sold my 2014 1200s monster and just bought red 937+ 2021 cheers
Smart move and congrats! You will LOVE it
Il dolce suono del diavolo. 🇻🇦
I usually prefer db-killers, but this time it was nicer without. I like the deep and clean sound.
The sound is almost brutal in person, hard to capture on video. I'm getting used to it but I'm worried its legit gona be some serious hearing damage

Sweet exhaust. Looks awesome and sounds killer with db killer out.
The sound is a bit brutal in person - i'm starting to love it but might put DB back in
Nice exhaust! I also have MIVV but the delta race. Very Nice sound, and very high quiliy pipes👍🏽😍 love you upgrade
Thank you sir. They do make quality stuff, MIVV. Just looked up the Delta Race - those are neat.

It really does sound lovely now :) ride safe as well my friend!
Ну наконец-то твой "новый" мотоцикл будет нормально звучать) Я уж думал не дождусь)
Hahaha oh it has a proper sound now - a bit too loud - still need to get used to it :)
Great informative video. Did you have to get an ecu tune or anything since you took off the cat?

There has been talks of a crackdown, inspections are also more difficult to get. All part of the game
Savage...just the way it should be!
No other option.
How much weight did you save with the exhaust and decat removal?? 7lb?
At least. I would say a bit more
Nice! Are you going to have to adjust the fueling?
I might, its not very necessary but might make sense

No issues it seems - rides just fine, better than ever. A tune could be smart though.

Way better tone with the mivv. Id keep the db killer in. Thats just me though
Yea I'm kind of torn, love the db out sound but it sure is LOUD
Im a bit late to this video but man o man those this sound amazing!
Thank you kindly! I love it so far

Not too loud to vlog but too loud to think :)
where did you get the tagholder?
Tagholder? Whats that?
Ahhh, plate, tailtidy - its from Motodynamic
