    Great video! Just picked up mine 2 weeks ago and your videos were a big factor in my decision. Do you have a link to the shortie levers? I can’t seem to find them online. Thank you!

    Heya! Thanks for the awesome vid! I've got an old Monster I'm using as a project bike, still has the old style headlamp etc. Do you think the sport fairing would fit? Ducati's website gives zero indication...

      Sorry I have no idea. There are plenty of Facebook groups out there that can answer your question.

    Tried the Dunlop Q3’s, they were OK tyre. But whas happy to put my bike back in the Michelin’s. Like the feeling more of them, realy light and responsive steering. Plenty grip, and better in the wet and more Miles before they ware out. But a little more expensive..

    • @tularosamoto
      @tularosamoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Which Michelins are you using? For my last set of tires, out of Pirelli, Dunlop and Michelin, the Michelins were the cheapest.

      @@tularosamoto Michelin Pilot Road 5s, this year I switch to the Road 6’s. They are “GT” tyres, but realy good an can push them nice. Some use them even in track. Even with the bigger Adventure bikes like KTM 1290 ADV S. I am really content with them👌🏻

    Can you advise which steering damper you purchased and also where you got the bracket for it as it looks OEM. Thanks and keep them coming

    • @tularosamoto
      @tularosamoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Anthony, the damper is made by Ohlins. If you order it for the 937 Monster, it will come will all of the necessary hardware for a proper installation. I got mine from Omniaracing.net in Italy but any Ducati dealer should be able to get it for you.

    Hi, whats your experience with the Ohlins DU125 in the street usage?.. does makes sense the upgrade for the regular street usage ? Thanks

    • @tularosamoto
      @tularosamoto  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As I mentioned in the video, you will feel the difference as it is stiffer, but whether if offers much advantage really depends on two things: your weight and your riding style/ability. If you’re a heavier rider, then I think you’ll find an upgraded shock to be overall more comfortable and a better ride. The stock shock is designed for lighter riders. Stepping up to a shock with a higher spring rate is probably a good idea if not necessary.
      As far as your riding, if you’re just cruising and not worried about hard braking and precisely hitting apexes, then you won’t really see any performance gain. Where upgraded shocks help is when you’re braking hard and pushing hard through the corner. When you’re at your limit, it’s easier to slow the bike and keep it pointed in the direction you want to go. If you’re not consistently hitting corner apexes then you’ll get more benefit out of working on your skill level than you will spending money on a new suspension. Hope that helps.

    What's your opinion on rear sets for the Monster Plus? I have a 2021 Monster Plus, and I feel the rear brake lever is a little too low for me , but there is very little adjustment for the rear brake. Thanks.

    • @tularosamoto
      @tularosamoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the rear brake is too low but really it’s not necessary for most riding. Check out my video on using the back brake for a detailed look at when to use the back brake. I wouldn’t get a rear set to deal with the back brake.

    I just sold my street triple rs. I'm considering this gen monster, but wanted to know how it performs in the twisties. Have you ridden the Triple before, if so, can you compare the two? Is power far off? Also, it would be my first Ducati if I choose this route. Any mechanical or eclectically problems you had so far? This bike is on top of my list for the fact that you were able to get it down to 370ish pounds and say it felt like a 300.

    • @tularosamoto
      @tularosamoto  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve ridden a street triple. Great bike. The Triumph is like a British gentleman where the Ducati is like a Latin lover. A bit rough around the edges but passionate and fiery. The Monster has way more torque down low. It powers out of the corners. The Triumph has more top end. If you follow my videos you’ll see I do a lot of riding in the twisties and at the track. It’s a fun nimble bike all the way around. No problems of any sort with it and I’ve got 13k miles. If you haven’t already, take a look at my long term review video where I talk about my experience with the bike.

      @@tularosamoto thank you for your response. After my post, I went on your channel and saw a video answering my question lol. Glad to hear they are reliable even when pushing it hard. This is on the top of my list now. I’ll let you know if I pull the trigger on one. They recently launched the new SP model, but for the cost, I think it would be to just get the base and upgrade the suspension like you did.

    Quick question about the levers do you recommend buying them as a set or could I get a separate brake lever and keep the stock clutch lever? And will the plunger on the levers be removed/replaced?

    • @tularosamoto
      @tularosamoto  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I bought them one at a time. You can replace them together or individually. It’s up to you. The lever only is replaced. No brake line related parts are touched.

    • @tularosamoto
      @tularosamoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a lot of good options out there for you. Akropovic, SC Project or Arrow should work. Find one that looks good and then see if you can find a video clip with sound from it. The smaller the can, the louder the sound.

    what would you suggest for a monster 1100s

    • @tularosamoto

      I was one of the first to buy the 937 Monster. The SP didn’t exist for the first two years. In fact, for the first year there were almost no upgrades available for this bike. It took a while for the aftermarket to catch up.
