    How does Honda Civic compare to the latest VW Golf in terms of driving feel and build quality? Would be interesting to hear your opinion in one of your upcoming videos

      I found the civic fantastic and I have my full review going live on Sunday. It felt like a much bigger car to the Golf to me and the build quality felt very good. I would say I prefer the driving dynamics of the Golf as it is a smaller size and lighter but overall the Civic really impressed me 😊

    Been considering this car, thanks for the review!

      No problem! Happy the review has helped and I have a few other films on my channel around the Civic Sport. I also hope to share the Advance model from Honda as a comparison 👍

    Thank you for this POV video👍🏻 Considering this car does not run on very low-roll resisting tyres and weighs 1.5+tonnes, its impressive that even with Michelin Pilot Sport 4, it achieves 50+mpg easily - and yet obviously gives you the benefits of nice handling

      No worries at all and thank you! Yes the weight and size of the tyres do affect things and the car as you say is not on eco style tyres. Regardless it feels more than quick enough, has great economy and is a lovely car to drive 👍

    Love POV driving videos, keep up the good work! When diesels are gradually getting phased out, this Civic e:HEV has got to be up there as one of the best 'pence-per-mile' cars

      No worries at all and thank you for the positive feedback back! I couldn't agree more! There is so much on offer from e:HEV combining the long standing petrol engine and adding value to the car. It really does offer so much in the real world 👍

    Looking forward to seeing some more content on the Civic, as this is one of my shortlisted cars. seen some fantastic discounts on these which makes them very good value, despite the higher list price. A real world MPG test on a mixture of roads would be great to see 👍

      I have a few more videos to come and I hope it helps you with your decision. Thumbs up from me for the car so far 👍

      For the last 2000 miles, I'm averaging 57.8mpg, it's easily the best car I have ever had (and I have had loads), and it's also feels much faster than you would expect.

    If you switch the screen to 'Powerflow' it will give you the mpg per journey etc and also shows the battery working etc

      Thank you! I have had a good play and although I can see the information I have not yet been able to reset it completely for my specific journey. I reset the "B" mode although I found it did not reset 🤔

      @@SamAustin You must hold the knurled steering wheel button down for 3 seconds. you can also set it to reset a or b after every journey in the settings.

    Thank you for this POV video - always love watching them as its immersive and gives us viewers a good idea of how a car behaves (even in legal speeds). Its nice to know that you have achieved an average of 60mpg with very little effort.

    • @whatskrakin37
      @whatskrakin37 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The 60mpg was his "active" as in the moment. His average is much less. He said he got 440 miles on a full tank and this car and trim level has a 12.4 gallon tank so that means he averaged 35mpg. But I do believe you can easily get high 40s and low 50s average mpg in this car. If I had it, I'm pretty sure I could because of where I live. I'm averaging 37.2mpg in my 18' Sentra and I typically get 450 to 520 miles range depending on if I'm doing more highway driving or not. But I live in Central Florida and my commutes are generally long straight roads. Honda civic is my most desired car to trade in for, just waiting after November and most likely next year for car prices to get better, mainly the "markups".

      No worries at all and I am happy you are enjoying the video. I feel 440 miles from a 40litre fuel tank is very good economy and the car is great to drive 🙂

      @@whatskrakin37 You do realise that US mpg and UK mpg are different?

    • @pillred5974
      @pillred5974 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@whatskrakin37 It's got an 8-gallon tank, not a 12.4 gallon, I average just under 58 mpg after 2000 miles that's UK imperial gallons your gallon is around 10% less so you should average low 50s mpg.
