Sounds like you were having a rough time when you made this, Nick. I hope you're doing well. Please keep in mind that for a lot of people you're not just some jackass reviewing knives on TH-cam - you're a much needed and greatly appreciated respite. Hang in there, and thanks for all the great work you do.

I like the look a lot, and am considering doing something similar to my mini bugout. I think a plain clip and screws would look better with carbon fiber than the blacked out clip/screws.

Good video, although I don’t understand why they made a bug out mini, it was small and light to begin with. Just remember, our ancestors, my grandparents, endured the dust bowl, then the Great Depression. Then, one of my grandfathers joined the army and fought WW2, where he met my grandmother, in Belgium, after they liberated her village. This country has faced monumental hardships in the past, and we’ve always come through with our strength of character. We have running water, electricity, tv, internet, and grocery stores that are almost, or close to, completely stocked (except toilet paper, can’t figure that one out). This is going to end, like other adversities this country has faced. Stay busy, keep your mind “sharp”, we’ll get through this.

Thanks for a moment of Zen in a trying time. I enjoy your maintenance videos. They're relaxing and I often pick up some good tips.
The scales improve the look of the knife immensely, and not just by reducing the quantity of ORANGE. Are you going to do at least a quick review of them? I've been pondering picking up a set for my blue bugout for a while. I like it as is, but the look and added rigidity of the carbon fiber is alluring.

For this I chose copper scales to give some weight to the knife.

The low profile clip for the bugout doesnt use the center hole, but the 3 hole pattern is standard on benchmades so you can any of their clips in you'd prefer (and likewise, put the bugout clip on any of their other knives).
