Dang. I’ve been EDCing a mini Osborne for a year and a half. Never cleaned it. Guess I should haha. It definitely needs a sharpening though.

Great stuff Zach, about 2 years ago you told me about the pivot tool it's a must if you own Benchmades. I carry my 945 in the 5th pocket everyday

I'm glad you are loving the pivot tool!! Definitely a must! Of course the 945 is your go to 5th pocket carry! Such a great choice Mike!

Generally i just pull the blade and washers and do a quick clean. But every few years i fully disassemble them if I carry them much. That pivot alignment tool is nice. I use a toothpick currently.

Legend! Thanks Greg!! It was a longer one, but fun break down. All the parts are just smaller...... :)

I just wish they made the handles just a wee bit longer.

When you see whats in there, you have to question those prices. The warranty is great but you can see theres no real jeopardy for the company.
Anyway, nobody forcing us to buy these things I suppose.

I probably have enough to build a Bugout. But the vacuum finds them most of the time. 😂

Does the 945 use the same size omega springs as the 940? Thanks.

  • @6StringsTheory

hey Zack, what do you call the stud that is attached to the spring. One of the halves of mine fell out and I have to try to find a replacement but I don’t know the name of it. Thanks.

The best way I can think of to disassemble and then reassemble a BENCHMADE knife is NOT to, leave it alone, if it ain't broke DON'T fix it ‼️🤣😂
