Adrianna some actors who were very young and in a popular show / movie want to forget that time period and leave it behind once they're older. Mainly because that title follows them around all of their life and limits their job opportunities. Sometimes it's all people remember them by, so when they're in more adult/ R rated movies and shows etc, they're not taken seriously by the audience since they're remembered as the 6-16 year old from a family tv show or movie. With Miley Cyrus, she kind of regretted doing Hannah Montana and going in that young. She struggled with trying to part her ways from her character and how people saw her (we all know how that journey went). This example is a bit different, but Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, they're mainly remembered for their roles on Twilight and people box them into their characters from that movie, so them playing another role seems weird and sometimes not as good by the audience. This is a bit different but, the Olsen twins for full house and the reunion / reboot mess; also for Macaulay Culkin and him quiting acting by 14- they were all thrown into that life at a young age by their parents, and once they were old enough, they chose to try and live a normal life out of the spot light (sometimes they hate being stopped and asked repetitive questions about that time period and the role). But Selena so far hasn't rebelled or shied away from her past role on Wizards of Waverly Place, instead she's embracing it- which is why the person who commented is happy that she hasn't 'forgotten' it (meaning avoided talking about it/ or skipped out on reunions bec she's singing now and is bigger than she was compared to when the show started).

I think I would've liked Ravens Home without her having kids. I'd rather it be Cory's kids and one if them has powers so he calls Raven to help them through it or Cory has to leave for awhile so Raven takes care if his kids. I'll still tune in though 😁😁

I still love wizards of Waverly place to this day! I love the sibling rivalry between Justin and Alex. Justin kind of like tony stark. Super smart! I mean he built a robot in high school. Alex is a loving caring person, (though she would never admit it). She was willing to expose magic to save the wizarding world after Justin felt for the UFO thing. (though I'm surprised he didn't recognize his own language after the government told them the family was under surveillance.)Alex is kind of like hulk. No matter what good she does, she is always blamed for everything. its like book smarts vs street smarts through out the series! its awesome! Max isn't very bright but he does know how to run a business! not sure its fair that he's the only one who doesn't get to keep his powers. but at least he gets to inherited the family business. ever wonder how the wizard competition is so different each time? in the movie it was a battle, in an episode of steve there was a power stripping orb. in the finale it was a game show and a race. Never could understand how sibling magic would be so powerful (russo vs angel of darkness) if only one sibling is allow to keep their magic. or why some magic requires more than one like the rope spell.yes I ramble on. I just love wizards so much. it makes me so happy that Selena hasn't forgotten where it all began and still loves her tv family. TRIV for you! Wizards was on deck with suite life and suite life met up with raven! so at least on Raven's Home its kind of fun to think about the wizards "still around" in that world. It happens to all of us, a lot of people look different depending on how their makeup is done. I prefer when Selena does very light, natural looking makeup and not the whole overly smoky look.

I was 3 when I watched wizards of Waverley place when it came out so I kinda grew up watching it and to hear that she kept her wand made me really happy 😂😆
When she’s 70 years old and she sees her grandkids watching Wizards of Waverly Place years later, she’ll smile and she’ll remember the good times of being on the show, and she’ll say, “Hey guys. Do you wanna see something cool?” And her Grandkids say, “Yes Grandma,” and she’ll have that youthful mischievous gleam in her eye like she did when she was younger on the show, and she’ll go to her attic or something and she’ll pull out the wand that she kept years later and she’ll tell her grandkids about the time she was on the show they were watching, and her grandkids will become all excited and she’ll be moved to tears because being on Wizards is what changed her life forever.

She is one of the most grateful celebrities! She embraces her past, her childhood, and how she got started. So many celebrities don’t do that it breaks my heart. I can’t think of very many who still get emotional and really are grateful for how they got started. It’s nothing to be ashamed of and I’m glad Selena agrees.
