Hey Y'all, Ms. Kelly, im grateful Selena has come forward and shared her diagnosis. Usually signs of bipolar start earlier. We as a family always knew there was something mentally off with my son. Until he was in mid 20's early 20's he found out that and was disgnosed with bipolar and later schizoaffective. My oldest was diagnosed at 14 years old and she is 34 years old snd still doesnt take meds. The binge alcoholism and cannabis is what she does. Highly intelligent genius child. She started a mexican restaurant called Maricos estapa? Shrimp somethimg. She was 18 years old at the time
Men are typically diagnosed around 18-20, and females in their late 20’s. It’s actually VERY common, as is misdiagnosis. Bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and Borderline Personality disorder present with similar symptoms.
I’m glad you recognize the connection between bipolar and genius. It’s true. Everyone on earth is highly intelligent but people with bp have just a little bit more creative intelligence- emotional intelligence. At the genius level :)
The way she talks & has expressed her vulnerability plus all sorts of situations she went through just shows how she has overcome & become even more flawless than she already was! I have been supporting her for years now & I am really proud to have her as my idol🖤

People have no idea what bipolar actually is and it’s so frustrating when people say “I have bipolar” and when in reality they just get mood swings from happy to sad. THATS NOT BIPOLAR. BIPOLAR IS SO MUCH MORE.
When doctors are rewarded for diagnosing, they WILL be diagnosing anything they can possibly diagnose.
@@xmyxymx And a lot of the times they get it terribly wrong especially the ones who aren’t working in actual mental hospitals
@@Frankysuperrrr Exactly
I have manic depressive disorder type 1 and it is sooo much more. I was hospitalized and diagnosed at 16.
@@kittykat0627 That’s what bipolar disorder type 1 is. I was hospitalized as well for 4 months when I was 20. I had hallucinations, visions, voices, heard things and I was in psychosis as well. It’s tough
I'm Bipolar as well and it's very hard to talk about it with others.
3:04 - she says she said it for the first time in the doc but she actually announced it on the Instagram Live Miley Cyrus show Miley used to host during the pandemic in 2020. In the interview with Sel, Selena shared it there first. Miley either just didn’t hear her or didn’t think a big deal of it because she was very nonchalant in her reaction.
She said she announced it first at that hospital she went to speak at, not on the documentary. 😊 2:42
she so beautiful
Selena you are such an amazing beautiful soul.
For someone who’s a singer; Kelly doesn’t breathe when she talks
Slow down
Relax
Lean back
Take a breath Kelly
The interview will go much better
You will talk less & listen more
Selena is so pretty omg
ALWAYS SUPPORT HER ❤❤
It almost feel as if this is a therapy session for Kelly.
Feel so good to dance again doesn’t it Selena, comes naturally ❤❤
@Selena Gomez. Speaking your truth is always a good thing. in healing ourselves we help to heal others.
Selena is such a good listener 😂😂
Selenas glowing ❤
Kelly please let her speak more. I’m so proud of Selena I suffer from same 🩷💜🩷💜
I’m glad I saw this interview
Selena Gomez ❤
The fact that she went from this performance rehearsals to the hairspray rehearsals makes her even iconi
So beautiful in and out yet seems so sad all the time. Very Eyore kind of persona.
True, shes lovely, but theres an inner sadness
The way she talks & has expressed her vulnerability plus all sorts of situations she went through just shows how she has overcome & become even more flawless than she already was! I have been supporting her for years now & I am really proud to have her as my idol🖤
Be strong Selena ❤ and Kelly too
Two of my favorite ladies right here ❤❤omg I love Kelly and beautiful Selena ❤❤❤❤❤
❤Selena Gomez is always beautiful 😍😊
Bipolar Disorder is over diagnosed in the Netherlands people rarely get this diagnosis.
Stay happy and live your life to the fullest. I love you ❤❤❤
She has such a lovely stillness to her, a quietude that seems so peaceful. I love Kelly but sometimes her excited puppy energy is....a bit much
That is the gift bipolar gives … if you survive it. ( stillness)
Love Selena and love Kelly so much ❤
I feel like shes very strong human, and Iam so mad for some people ctriticizing her, for her body, or how shes acting, like, shut up.. Shes trying to live people!
I think people are still mad about the break up and there's people that think she's trying to be like Demi Lovato. Pfft
Well done to Selena. Being open about your mental health isn't easy. I'm sure this documentary will help lots of people, but most of all, I hope it helps her 💛
Love Selena.
Kelley you did a wonderful job being so charismatic with her. Selena has been through so much. So many seasons.
I love Kelly's song Sober ❤ being BP is so hard, so lonely 🫂
Love you selena fighting ❤💜
Bipolar Disorder is often difficult to diagnose and the right treatment is delayed. On the positive side meds really work.
Shes beautiful inside and out.
Selena is so pretty as always
Who’s not in Sel’s life anymore that she’s referring to?
She is legend....
Bi polar is very difficult... because of the manic depression.
I think other wonderful people whom I care about dearly, have bipolar, the not seeing how important you are to those around you whom look up to you. And feel heart broken when you over look this. Is a little heart breaking.
I feel bad that there were probably childhood influences causing these difficulties. That were not clear nor told.
It's a sensitive matter. God bless you 🙏🏽
Damn, Kelly can talk. I wish she let Selena Gomez talk more!!
This is why I stick to uk talk shows, as a Brit I can’t help but notice American tv hosts talk SO much 😵💫
I hope selena knows she has changed so many lives
Was happy to hear Kelly sang with kids❤❤❤
Salena did beautiful and talented and brave . Love the queen
