Could you demonstrate one of your blueprinted 261 cutting ? I run 3/8 picco PS ( chisel ) chain with an 18” bar that seems to cut quite well ( small white ash mainly). The saw works well for 50 cc but the low / mid throttle response is lacklustre in my opinion. Would like to the difference your modifications make.
Hey Donny! I just had a question on simple work saw type porting. Is it worth it to JUST go in and rough up the intake a tad and widen the exhaust port up and polish? No changing timing or anything really just widening it up. Plus muffler opening. Would that really add anything? Maybe touch the transfers some.
Hey Donny, what do you think of the 025 Stihl? I heated my house for 15 years with one until it got an air leak in the bearing. Then i got a 261 because i was too lazy to fix the 025.
