- Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse than Cat Mario...I discovered 'NEW Syobon Action'. For those that don't know what the original Cat Mario (Syobon Action) game was about here is a brief synopsis: Syobon Action AKA Cat Mario is a 2D Japanese platform freeware indie video game released in February 2007 and developed by Chiku. This may be one of the very first 'troll' games ever created and amazingly it still holds up to this day!

That was unexpected on all fronts. Ok AI, actual platforming rules, detailed ds style graphics.. most surprising of all, many of the trolls were softer, styled like Mario Maker.
