No info on this subject, but I'm thinking more of semi-modular like Moog or Behringer, more Behringer moreover (Crave, K2, Neutron...) it looks like what it is possible to do with these synths and one or two pedals! But OK.... Maybe it's Garage Band hahaa
Any old subtractive synth would do really , it’s more about manipulating and layering field recordings and processing them through chains of fx usually.
@@BenHall289 Yes ! I know a little about the principle hahaa but not just any old synth would do the trick, I'm not entirely of this opinion. I have old synths, I have semi-modulars and I have many pedals, and I assure you that I cannot make this kind of sound as easily with my DX-7 or my Prophet 5 as with my Neutron or my K2 ;) So you don't necessarily need treatment with effects pedals with the semi-modular, you get these textures without external processing simply by patching. :)
@@I-Hate-Robots-Official Sure I was being a bit glib but you get my drift. Many of my favourite drone artists uses little more than a laptop and a field recorder. Darren McClure being one of them. Check his concept ep object trio if you’re not already familiar.
@@BenHall289 Oh yes of course I understand! ;) I also really like doing this with my Zoom, capturing sounds and using them in my live :) It's clear that there's so much possible with that alone, and a little reverb anyway, at least ;) No, I don't know him but I'll look, thanks for the info! 👍
I need souls like game with industrial design like that
Now that.. would be brilliant. FromSoft, get to it!
