Hello! Can I ask where did you dig up such fine eerie picture of your Research Center? Its truly enticing - the architecture, the fog, the lights - I keep staring at it and its horrifically beautifull and uneasy - like starting a horror film :D I'd really like to know where can I find it.
I'm not really in a good place right now mentally and I just stumbled across this. It gives me so much comfort. I feel like I'm in a game where I have to go on my silly little walks, cook my food, drink my tea to keep my character alive and healthy until the rain stops :) thank you!
You are being smart by doing all the activities that are good for you. "Fake it till you make it" is a helpful phrase. Go through the motions of healthy behaviors, and you will slowly recover. They use that saying in AA, but I think it would work for treating depression with behavioral therapy too.
Makes you wonder of the interior of this research center. How are its hallways? Its offices? The basement? Unsettling, yet a comfortable feeling for exploration. Exactly my daily dose of emotions I need.
You'll never find it, though. This is true middle of nowhere, US. Probably lots of cloud seeding happening around the clock, too. They'll tell you it is to keep this facility private and hard to reach, due to the constant rain and unstable terrain, but in reality they know whatever is in there needs humid weather to stay under the radar. The problem is not even they know what's in there.
I've found great sanctuary here, absorbed in this, and it fills me with peace. My whole word crumbled today. It hurt. But in this dimension I've found some sense of solace. I am grateful. Here the pain drifts into the calm dark and I smile knowing I no longer matter...
And yet, as you find yourself entering the facility you quickly come to grasp that this is no ordinary research facility... but one that has housed the stem of the outbreak, the requiem for chaos... You dare venture in, finding discarded husks of people that once were... finding their remnants strewn about like confetti... you wonder... "Should I be here?"
You say that, but I would personally find the building inviting even if not for such landscape. The sheer grandeur of this massive structure which likely holds even larger quantities of human ingenuity fascinates me...

Thank you. The audio is hypnotic, and the visual evokes a memory. The research center in the picture reminds me of a place in British Columbia, Canada. There is a school campus there, Simon Fraser University, which sits atop Burnaby Mountain, near Vancouver. Quite often, there is thick fog which makes everything look otherworldly.
It's like closing the door in a dark room and sitting next to the air vent that is continuously blowing warm air into your face when it's dark and cold outside. It's a companion in a way, one that isn't seen only felt.

I've always had a strange longing and nostalgia for dystopian and post-apocalyptic scenes and worlds, and this taps into that feeling for me perfectly. I find myself imagining what sort of world this scene is a part of, what it's like inside the building and what sort of landscapes and other habitations lie beyond the frame of the image; what sort of culture and society exists here; how far do those mist-cloaked plains and forests extend. It seems to be a window into a living, breathing, eerie, fascinating, beautiful world. And I want to be in it. All of which is to say, amazing work! nice
Stunning mix (as usual); stunning pic (as usual). Never disappointed. Congrats !!
I would love to get stoned and just chill in a chair looking out a window on the far side of the complex. It'd be great to just sit there and stare out at the rain dancing around the landscape.
can't stop listening to this, so calming
Amazing scene and sounds, put it on full screen and imagine walking around that building. tysm .. subbed :-)
Magical and calming, great work 🌖
this is brilliant. been listening to this for a couple of days now practically non-stop
Excellent work, love the atmosphere
I really, really enjoy this soundscape. It makes my work almost dreamlike at times...while still getting things done!!!
awesome! but you where do you find such fantastic background art?
Probably A.I. generated
❤ beautiful and melancholicly threating at once, feeling of some uncertain hope
This' the sound that would be playing in the XBox menu if consoles kept their aesthetic instead of adopting their dull corporate look.
I adore this piece of music very specically for no exact reason.
This is really nice ambience!!
great vibe - helps my brain sleep and find a nice hum.
Living in a sunny state, it's always go go go, but having grown up in the rain - it helps me calm down. Like a postcard lullabye from my past.
Hi i work at a place just like this..im a security guard, cant say where, but. Its cold and in a forest.
This track is just beyond a masterpiece. Wearing my gaming headset, and while doing so it was giving me heavy goosebumps. Now I am tempted to do ambient like this, too.
You really should come out with a full on album with these kinda sounds man. This stuff is on par with Basinski and Eno with how ethereal and good it sounds.
Can we all agree that the editing is top-notch?
did you try the new canteen on underground level 77?
