Hey bud, it was an absolute pleasure having you out at the Gumbie Gathering. It will be one for the books for sure! Thanks for everything and I’ll see you and “Toby” next year! 😂
Hey Ben, brother I hope you are feeling better! I just watched Brian's video with everyone at the Ozarks. I really enjoyed watching it! Take care out there. Semper FI
Great adventure. Glad to meet some of the other folks who were there. I am sure you had a great time. Thankfully Ben recovered and is okay. Praying for everyone and yall stay safe! 🙏❤️🇺🇸
That was just awesome. That first sunrise view looked like a painting. Maybe when you get back, you can do a run through of everything you used for us “wanna be Brian” folks.:). Looks like a lot of good people.
Poor Ben! Getting dehydrated is no joke! I rehabbed firefighters for 16 years and you have to have electrolytes also, not just water. Water will flush the needed minerals right out and that's no bueno. Our department did some research and used NUUN tablets along with Gatorade. Liquid IV is really good and Costco has the 30 packet bag $8.00 off right now, and most stores carry 10 pack boxs in the drink mix section. The hiking/mountaineer community really likes LMNT, and they love to sponsor, so you can look into that as well. They have their recipe on their website also. Is really a good idea to have some packets on hand, they are small so I keep a couple in the car and bring them with me when I do anything outdoors. It really helps with headaches and muscle cramps.
@BrianWatersOutdoors Might as well toss some in the trailer for good measure as well. LOL. I was wondering about the solar panels, do the different brands interchange with each other? I have a little Bluetti and I'm wanting to see if I can find a good used panel set on Offerup or Marketplace. I'm hoping that I could use another brand to expand my options.
A nice-to-have accessory for portable solar panels is the Ecoflow Solar Angle Guide. It clips on the top of the solar panel and gives the owner the best vertical and horizontal angles for the most efficient solar panel position. Pretty much a put the dot in the bullseye display. It works great with my Bluetti panels.
Hey Brian, I really enjoyed watching this video. The Ozarks have some beautiful country! My wife and I try to go up there every year. We'll spend some time there and then head up to north west Arkansas to Eureka Springs for a few days. It was good to see Ben, from Semper Gumbie there. Hope he's feeling better. Looks like yall had a great time, I know I enjoyed watching!
Thanks Doyle, I’m doing better, I just was so consumed with 3 days of work I failed to eat and drink for the event. I posted my video of the event on my channel as well last night.
Someone already posted but that first sunrise looked like a painting. Thanks for sharing and your videos and editing are next to none .Glad Ben is better and that was an awesome trip 🦅🇺🇸🦅
Looks like a fun time. I know you are a gadget guy like me, have you seen the new (Bluetti charger 1) ? It uses the 12volts from your vehicle and steps up the watts to allow for faster charging. I'm thinking about purchasing one. It may be a cool product to review on your gadget channel. Great Video!!!!
Hey Brian, great video! It was a blast hanging out with you and everyone else at the Gumbie Gathering! I’m glad you got the e-bike giveaway on camera! Hope to hang out with you soon! 👍🏻
This was a fun day have you seen the new backpack power by Bluetti a 300w, and 700w with the pack. The small one has a 12v 7amp outlet. Anyway check it out when you’re able to. The camping trip looked great.
You should have told me about dinner! You could have gone into ‘the kitchen’ & gotten one of the meals we brought. But… I do love the Peak Biscuits & Gravy and could eat the for any meal! Bob made me dinner so I didn’t even have to boil water!! 😂 Thanks Bob for loaning me the cot & dinner! Thank you Brian for helping with Hoku!
I’m glad Ben was able to get to the hospital and get some fluids. I drink electrolytes every day even if I’m just sitting around doing nothing. I recommend Dr. Berg. That sunrise was amazing and your nighttime time lapse was incredible
I just came across your channel looking at some of the F150 camping stuff you were doing a couple years back. Instantly liked this channel! And this Superduty camping stuff is AWESOME! Keep up the work dude this video is dope! Edit: I can tell you out a lot of effort into your videos and hope your channel blows up you deserve it.
Thanks for taking us along, Brian. It was a great set of videos! I'm curious, though, would your previous type of setup, with the Leer topper, have been doable for this type of a trip? I would love to see a pros/cons of both setups from you at some point. You break things down so well.
Thanks for watching! You can absolutely do the camper shell setup for this type of experience. In fact, there were (2) SuperDuty's there that were using a hard camper shell instead of a rooftop tent. I've said it before, but I feel personally the rooftop tent camping makes it feel more like "camping" instead of being inside the camper shell. It makes me get out and enjoy the outdoors instead of sitting inside the camper shell. Pro's of the shell is there is basically no setup, but the rooftop tent camping feels like you're more outdoors. You can hear the animals, feel the wind, etc.....that is why I now prefer the rooftop setup over the camper shell camping like I used to do.
Yeah man had an accident few weeks ago rolled my jeep luckily I walked away with just a cut on my leg but been busy finding new ride? How are you? How’s the fam?
Im glad you had a good time. You deserved it. I could tell something was wrong with Ben when he was fumbling with that coke bottle. Somehow, when he reacted to that bottle falling, i could tell his body didn’t react normally. I've felt like that when dehydrated in the past, your body just doesn't want to respond the same. I hope Ben is feeling better.
You know I just realized I don't know how to cook a steak well done lol! I forgot to ask and I can't find it, where did you get the 4 port Olight charger? Thanks for a great video and great memories!
The mini Starlink does not have unlimited data, so no. The bigger Starlink can be shared but if the entire camp was using it then the speeds would be almost unusable.

I already bought some of the liquid IV to keep in my truck! I learned a lot from this trip👍🏻
Thank you! I drank a lot of water that weekend. I should had Gatorade, but whoever thought October would be that hot. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks Steve!
Good thing you have those solar panels. Would you have run out of power if you didn’t ? Or can you run your truck to charge the power units?
It would have been close. Ran the power station non stop for 3 1/2 days.
I always enjoy all your videos. Feel better Ben
Thank you Patty!
Thank you👍🏻👍🏻
Great video as usual, you looked so comfortable in your tent last night . Awesome set up overall .
Thank you👍🏻
Seems like a great trip! If you ever put something together like this in Texas I would definitely go!

Just watched Dylans video from the same trip

Brian, you have probably covered in previous, video and I may have missed it, but what is the brand of your table?
I can’t remember the exact brand, but I do have a link for it in this video description. Picked it up on Amazon. It’s a great, sturdy table.
Looked like a great time. What sunglasses are you using? Looks like you have a few different lens colors.
Saw more then one star link
Can not one share with the rest?
The mini Starlink does not have unlimited data, so no. The bigger Starlink can be shared but if the entire camp was using it then the speeds would be almost unusable.

👍🏻
How much data did you use on your Starlink during the trip?
Ended up using about 13gb👍🏻
😎👍
Thanks sir👍🏻
