Interesting baseline. My 97 sti hits 17psi in stock form all the way up once it starts boosting and I am looking to turn mine down for obvious reasons lol. I need to get this thing tuned as it is still on the stock computer.

Curious my bug eye had a t piece at the front of the motor what’s that for? But I’ve got one near the waste gate which I think is for my boost gauge?

Did you keep the ball and spring in the boost controller?

Hi mate, just a word of warning. Boost drop-off that you're experiencing is intentional, I have it with my 99. I had ebc, set at 15pound throughout the rev range, similar to yours. I took it to the track and threw a rod through the block, all signs led to (over)boost as a culprit. I've since put in a 207 and reverted to the stock controller, just a heads up mate, keep up the good work

True. They original set of boost drops. O don't know for what. (Whit original EBC) 2port. Whit mbc on My my99 can put 16 PSI on allá the rev. Range. But i don't know is this safe...

my MY99 stock, will hold 15PSI to redline, I did notice that with the original intercooler it was dropping off something cronic at anything over 4K, but with the GR intercooler, which Nev also has installed, it started to hold 15 all the way.
I think I'll be putting my boost T in the line where the stock restrictor pill is so the ECU can still operate and cut boost if needed. Seems odd to remove that ability

Love the channel just stumbled upon it, binging atm, you need the restrictor pill and you will see works fine and stock boost according to manual is 14PSI not 7PSI according to the correct reading some get confused. Also when did you get that mount for your gauge? I have same Turbo smart but mine is mounted lower under steering wheel so NSW cops don’t defect me! New subbie to

If he's talking about 7 psi I think he meant the stock waste gate and not stock boost.

So you didn't explain where which hose went where from the turbo and from the wastegate?

I first got confused too but if you look closely you can actually see it at 10:00, the right side goes to the wastegate and the left side is coming from the turbo
