Excellent job! First off, it’s great how you’ve finally gotten the chance to do an in-depth review involving SFO, which is my “home” airport! Additionally, it’s exciting to learn that United has come back to JFK and to see that the onboard service has largely returned to normal. I like how we are regularly receiving their premium-configured 767s now, which will be a joy to fly on in any class, but particularly in economy when compared to their 777s and 787s (which I’m pretty sure are the only United wide-bodies SFO regularly got before this JFK service).
As somebody who took 48 flights from the UK in 2019 and 8 in 2020 (all before March) seeing this video gives me hope we might get back to normal, maybe not this year but surely next.....safe travels!
Great video as always, Jeb. I have flown Polaris all over the world. Great product. The current meal offerings are NOT sufficient. I am tired of the "Covid Cafeteria" food. The following needs to return: PDB, hot towel, starters/appetizers, salads, hot meals on glassware, sundae cart and a la carte ordering need to return ASAP!
Making my return to the skies this week in United First (Albeit a much less prestigious route). Good to see United keep things up fairly well relatively speaking.
Thank you for Flying Our friendly skies. The service gives testament to the "below the wing" team members. From our cleaning crew, fuelers, ramp, gate customer service, and more to make this happen on a daily basis. As a 32 year Line tech, I am very intimate with our 767 fleet. This is a wonderful airframe. I hope we continue JFK service for many years. From your SFO based 'Below the wing' teams, Thank You.

According to a flight attendant on an AA flight I recently took, AA plan on bringing back full service in June/July I just cant wait for the masks to he optional
Masks being optional will not be the decision of the airlines. It is federal law that masks must be worn at all times onboard airplanes, trains, ferries and buses. Until that is rescinded, individual airline policy doesn't matter one bit.
@@JBS319 I am aware, that being said some airlines enforce the rules more then others, some FA enforce the rules more then others for example the budget airlines are known for giving passengers a much harder time, I fly a lot once in the air I think I was asked 4-5 times about wearing the mask properly, many times I have gone to the crew areas and have seen flight attendants with their masks off pretending to eat or drink Mask have to be made optional especially if you are vaccinated or have antibodies
I was a ramp agent for United at SFO and it was a rare occurrence to see any UA 767 at the gate, but with the addition of SFO-JFK routes, SFO is getting some much needed UA 767 love. My first widebody I ever pushed out happened to be a UA 767-400ER headed to EWR, so it was such a treat, especially since I was being trained for dispatch.
United has had meal service on the premium routes SFO-EWR and LAX-EWR throughout COVID, they never stopped providing it on these flights. JFK would be considered a premium route too so this is no different from before.
Jeb, always good to see your stories! As a long time customer of UA it's great to see them back "in the game"! I will have to totally agree with you on the coffee situation at their only open lounge at SFO and it's the same at LAX so I guess Cali still has control over the experience. I do have to say that you were more then generous with your depiction of the lounge itself. That lounge (the lounge I am sitting in right now) is something out of Chicago 1987! It needs major facelift! Keep flying and hope to join you on board one day.
I flew United first class to Turks and Caicos recently, they gave us these snack boxes, pre-pandemic it would have been a hot meal. They need to go back to normal service.
I've always liked United (after the disappearance of TWA). Snacks are fine. Americans get soo big and then complain about tight seats, etc., etc. HELLO? Less food also means a lighter plane, especially after it has taken off. So, again, United leads the way. You don't have to convince this United fan here!!

You should put down also Jeff about United's rating. 1-Did not get beaten up and carried out of the plane. 2-Got your guitar smashed. 3-Getting tossed and turned by turbulence.
Jeb, dare I say that I think you have stars in your eyes regarding the comfort rating of this plane? To me, it looked cramped in every way - from head to toe and side to side. Jeb- I really want to urge you to get on JetBlue’s new 321 Mint NEO which launches LAX-JFK next month.
