If you go into Bone Tomahawk without knowing how it turns from a western into a graphically intense and raw horror feast towards the end, like I did, then it gets surprinsing to say the least. Good movie though. I wish there were support groups where we could talk about how the movie has left a mark in our minds, also discuss the implications of the ways of life of the native tribe described, including diet and women's rights.
Great list, as always!! MAD respect for including Korean movies!! Theres so many good ones but i rarely see anyone mention them! I'd love to see a video of your favorites!!🤗
Okay, this is getting the point where I have so many saved movies from your recommendations that Netflix is getting concerned 😂 It would be great if the streaming services had your videos and lists right there on their platform. Kinda like the influencers on Amazon. This would make movie watching so much easier. Please and thank you 😊
Baby Driver, a great movie! I swear the first time I watched the ending had Baby with his hand on the speaker in the Impala as they drove away, the second time I watched it that scene was not present, it ended with what I call the dream scene. I think I’m losing my mind…..😂. Thanks Darren, would never had known about this movie had it not been for Flick Connections!
I have to agree The Stranger is a fantastic movie. Sean Harris was exceptional. Also, HitMan was a surprise and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend The Clovehitcher Killer, Arkansas and The Peanut Butter Falcon. I don't know why I just don't like Bone Tomahawk. Just my opinion.
Saw Bone Tomahawk when it first came out. It has the most terrifying death scene I’ve ever seen, and it stuck with me. To this day, I couldn’t watch that scene again.
@@heatheraggus7501 I liked it, but I get it. Appreciation of art is subjective. There's plenty of films other people rave about that bored me to tears!

Thanks for getting me out of my Show Hole. You look great btw. So good to see how well you've done as a content creator. I started watching you in 2016. 💪🎯
The part in Bone Tomahawk where they undress the guy, hang him upside down by his feet and then.... THAT made me wince... the sight, the sounds... DAYEMMM! 😲😲😲
Love your work bud. Always recommend so real bangers. Any chance you can add South Africa to your list of countries where we can stream films from too please! We have way less available on Netflix here than in the U.S.
You are amazing. Thank you for showing these. These awesome movies would be hidden if you didn't bring them out. BTW, where can I find those awesome t-shirts.?
Long time subscrber here, thanks for Baby Driver;a great ride(pun intended) but I think Ansel Elgort nailed it almost subversively playing his role. Thanks
Thanks again for your recommendations. Tried Hit Man, you've recommend this a few times I think. We'd already had this added to our Netflix watch list, because it looked good in the trailer. We just could not get into it, my daughter and I spent an hour watching and then just gave up, it did not appeal to us at all! Most of the time your recommendations align with what I enjoy, but not this time with Hit Man BTW, bought 2 of your shirts, love the designs on the ones I've got, will let you know what I think when they get here.
I have not been a BIG fan of Netflix and even dropped them once as, umm, crapola.. THIS is a list to be excited about. I did notice you made no comment concerning language or subs for Believer and would appreciate it it if you did so as a standard in your process. But I for sure can go find out. Netflix should be paying you as you give such great overviews.
What a list ! Lots to discover, even more to watch again... Thanks Darren ! Edit: Went to see Arkansas after this. Great discovery. The Coen Brothers come to mind. Clark Duke is on my radar now.
I was highly surprised to see "Arkansas" on this list! I feel like it's always overlooked. Side note: I went to school with Clark (in Arkansas), and a lot of the movie was shot in the area where we grew up.
I started rewatching Baby Driver a month ago. I hadn’t seen it since release in the theater. I meant to watch a few minutes, but watched an hour plus before bed and finished the next day. It is soooo good.
‘Lost Bullet’ is great and feels like a more modern ‘Ronin.’ ‘The Wailing’ and ‘Bone Tomahawk’ are good but single-time viewings for me. That meat harvest scene from Tomahawk is still seared into my head 😬
Highly highly recommend baby driver to anyone who passed it up like i did for a few years.. truly one of the better movies ive seen in quite a long time!
I loved it so much that I watched it again a couple years later. Btw, if you like the wailing then you should watch Memories of Murder. It’s on TUBI right now. Trust me.
I stopped this video and went straight to watch “Tickled”. I HATE being tickled and was on edge the whole time. Idk why I did this to myself. Now I need a Xanax 😅

The Stranger...I hated it while I was watching it, made me feel very unsettled but loved it when it was done, know what I mean? I wouldn't want to watch it again but it's good. Hard to explain. Hi. These lists are so helpful. Thank you so much.
You are so welcome
Just saw Bone Tomahawk. Much better than I would have imagined. There was a scene or two that were overly graphic. Two Thumbs Up!

Lost Bullet was such a fun surprise. Caught it off a Flick Connection recommend ages ago, and absolutely loved it.

That was an excellent FLICK CONNECTION Darren. Many thanks for sharing with us, much appreciated. Baby Driver is the stand-out film, I think.👍👍👍

I love your Netflix Movie Attention break downs! Always some gems I never noticed in your vids! Netflix has SOoo much, we need tip offs!
This list is a banger. I haven't seen Queenpins or the wailing yet so those are next on my list. Thanks!
Saw Bone Tomahawk when it first came out. It has the most terrifying death scene I’ve ever seen, and it stuck with me. To this day, I couldn’t watch that scene again.

"Baby Driver" is underrated, but seems to be catching on as time goes by. Don't get me started on "Bone Tomahawk," what a crazy third act!

I highly recommend 'Bone Tomahawk.' I saw it on Bit Chute before I subscribed to Netflix. I've recommended it to many friends but they don't seem interested. You might not expect a combination horror-western to work but it does.
Paul Walter Hauser was brilliant in Black Bird
Molly's Game was phenomenal.
And Bone tomahawk makes me wonder if i have the stomach to see it again. The cave seen is so darkkkkk!!!
Regarding Baby Driver near the end read that a Sequel is in the works!!!
Lost Bullet is great but they leave with an opening for a 2nd.
Which they did but it’s a filler for a 3rd, which hasn’t been made.
Loved Hitman. It really should have gotten a theatrical release.
I read John Brandon's 'Arkansas' and really loved it, and overall the movie does it justice, but for me the score/soundtrack is distractingly bad, taking me out of the story multiple times.
2:06 lol definitely takes place in America!
Hit man was awesome 👏
D-man, u left a big one out: Glengarry Glen Ross
Bone Tomahawk is a fantastic film with some seriously disturbing visuals. However those visuals are integral to the story even if they feel gratuitous.
