In my opinion, marvel should make a Storm series. Showcasing her story, the diversity of her powers and exploring new things with the character, also maybe showing more of africa's beauty, would be so amazing.

I dont know about a series, the one disney made arent all bad, but the quality is still not there. I would much more prefer a movie or even two, those tend to look more cinematic and i want to be fucking awed when i'll see her "summoning" the storm on big screen

I never new about x men and mcu until my brother watched them when I was 9 and I watched all of the x men movies I didnt think Storm the masterpiece was weak at all I'm 16 now and I still love Halle and Storm so What makes Storm weak? Storm is one of, if not, the most powerful Omega level mutant. Plus she's also a goddess and a witch. It would be so hard to do her justice in one single movie, but she definitely deserves at least one.

@@aavalestormiconicperformer Thor, Iceman, etc, can withstand pretty extreme cold, Thor isn’t bothered by flying around in interstellar space, or a few degrees above absolute zero. Other characters don’t die from freezing, just hibernate such as Hulk.

Despite the failures that were Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix, those two movies really showcased the versatility of Storm’s powers. I like that

Those movies also had the benefit of years upon years of movie magic to grow from. Yes, the action and fight scenes highlighting what Storm could do were better coordinated than the Halle Berry films.

Dark Phoenix and The Last Stand could have been much better movies had they built up the sisterly bond between Jean and Storm; and showcased the hurt, anger, and grief Storm would feel.
However, I do feel like Storm’s wardrobe in The Last Stand was a symbolic shift of Storm’s character: she dyed her hair silver and black, stopped wearing elegant gowns and blouses, and began wearing more leather and fitted clothing.
She should have had a Dark arc that paralleled Jean’s Dark Phoenix.
And it's crazy because there's a comic book that is called the Dark Storm
Great points. I feel that the writers and the director for Dark Phoenix and The Last Stand pulled back in some ways and it made the movies seem unfinished.
Thats the same in comics, at one point,, she is like that. Defeating calipso and all. But the movie shows her as weak and not interesting.
Storm is my favorite character. She is not only an Omega level mutant, she is an expert hand to hand combatant, and she comes from a long line of African priestesses with magical abilities. She has worked with MagiK the mutant to kinda show her how to use her magic, she can use her powers in/on any planet and space. She is immune to most psychic attacks and if she so chose she could drown you on the spot or devoid your lungs of oxygen! She is the shit!!

Storm is my all-time favorite black superheroine. Nobody has ever topped her; she is literally a goddess of all storms, the personification of a powerful black woman, and has the ability to influence and directly control the weather however she sees fit on any platform. I love Storm so much.

Storm was the reason that got me into the whole comic (especially Marvel’s) scene in the 00s. She has the coolest abilities imo, and I can’t wait for the moment she’ll show up in the mcu.

The lightening effects in Apocalypse was the best ever in all the movies. It was right on point of how lightening really is. It's very quick and instant..I'm surprise they let the battle go this way and had Storm as a horseman but didn't land one shot on nobody. They really water her. She could have ended them all but she was there to only display a little and play around with them.

Storm was the best character of my childhood, he powers are so breathtakingly good! She is the reason I watched x men series! Her powers in movie are overshadowed! I'm too at the age of 30 waiting for a movie dedicated to her! I like the episode where rogue accidentally touches her and her powers get unleashed from the cartoon series.
To be fair, It is difficult to really showcase xmen characters as their comic book counterparts. Some of the things they are capable of in the comics is just terrifying and too powerful for the antagonists in these films lol. Pretty much every characters on the good team are nerfed like storm, iceman, bishop, sunspot, rogue, shadowcat, etc. Quicksilver is a good example of when they overreached. They actually showcased him really well in those scenes when time seems to stop but yet because they needed the antagonists to be actually capable, he will screw up in the weirdest ways to allow that.
The mcu did very well handling characters like Thor and Dr Strange who could have been seen as over powered characters. FOX just dropped the ball

I love Storm! First ever cartoon character I was obsessed with. It was great seeing her growing up. As a young little black king I was obsessed.
Now with the Multiverse and X-Men in the MCU it would be really cool if Thor and Storm would meet each other in the films.
The scene in the church with Jean, Storm and Nightcrawler has always been a favorite of mine as well as when they were battling the fighters on the X-Jet.

I love her and she absolutely deserves her own movie. Storm even in cartoons has always been downplayed. Her powers have shown to render the world completely uninhabitable. A fraction of this could cause massive damage and it’s just never utilized properly or accurately depicted in any medium and I am tired of it.

DOFP Storm was the only one who was kinda decent. One thing that get me upset is why in apocalypse when she was amped by apocalypse (she wouldn't even need a amp to begin with but anyway), why couldn't she unleash her power. Not at all! I LOVE Halle Berry as Storm. She was the Storm i was introduced to as a child. So she definitely holds a spot in my heart. People are too fixated on having a Dark skinned Storm than the actual character being portrayed right.
It has a place in our hearts cuz Halle Berry was the 1st to portray her. However, it's still not an accurate depiction of storm.
I think halle did storm pretty well but storm is a Dark skinned East African woman -- not a biracial brown or light skinned american (sounding) woman.
They got all the white characters right for instance, but they chose someone more "palatable" to the main stream audience to play her. This is one of the sole reasons Alexandra Ship got so much hate playing the new rendition of storm.
People figured we are in a new time let black characters be played by talented black actors/ actresses. Biracial people playing full black characters is problematic (its colorist and inaccurate).
Halle gets no hate because when she was hired to play Storm it was a different time (plus she's Halle Berry).

Plus its not like there arent young talented dark skinned actresses out there to play her, some of the people in charge just refuse to stay true to how a Kenyan Woman with 2 Dark skinned Kenyan parents should look. Just like they did with everyone else, except for Jean. Berry's Storm is brave, mature, a leader and a mother to other mutants. She fights with love and power.

I also wish they had delved deeper into the Storm storylines. She was capable of so much more. Halle and Alexandra were great with the little they were given. I'm hoping that Disney will do a re-boot for the X Men and feature a powerful, moody, gorgeous Storm.

I believe she can be a beypnd omega level. Her powers are not limited to atmokinesis after all. Her psionic abilities affect matter at the atomic level. She is just being nerfed. In a way, she is similar to Dr. Doom, but perhaps she is above viktor in a sense that she has more connection to magic than Doom. Her ancestors are favored by the Vishanti, most notably by Oshtur. If she does train in the mystic arts with doc strange, just like viktor, she would be super op. I mean, after all, Oshtur would readily help her in any way.

Storm is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum, first appearing in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975). Descended from a long line of African witch-priestesses, Storm is a member of a fictional subspecies of humans born with superhuman abilities known as mutants. She is able to control the weather and atmosphere and is considered to be one of the most powerful mutants on the planet, and one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe.

To think that Halle Berry played two powerful comic book charcters ( Storm and Catwoman), both for which she was perfect and both got down played , is kinda sad
