I really relate to Inez’s personality and how she first reacted to anxiety and wakefulness. I hope I can learn how to deal with those as she did. Still learning that.

Your interview was so inspiring Inez. I have been struggling with insomnia for almost 6 months now. I feel so exhausted and I wake up when I have slept my whole body is buzzing. Not sure if you had experienced it too. I also have health anxiety which kicked off my insomnia 😢

Had a weird experience. I took melatonin for an entire year faithful every night and one night it seemed to backfire! So I quit taking them! I have been awake almost every other night and it used to be very scared! With this training, I am trying to calm with this. After a month I am still working on this! This takes a while to adjust and love myself through this!

The self love - so so glad to see this, it truly helps. And the path of learning and courage, this is also so helpful. Delegation which Inez talks about can be really great to know because it can explain things like why something “stops working”

I’m in the bedtyme app now, on day 4. Had four nights in a row where I was able to sleep but last night didn’t take my sleep aid and it backfired. Now feeling anxious about tonight’s sleep because I didn’t sleep much last night. Trying to figure out how to accept my fear of being awake and I know I’m going to have some fear tonight and need help.

    • @thesleepcoachschool8192
      @thesleepcoachschool8192  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hi, and firstly - so glad you’re in BedTyme and hope you find it really valuable. Now, seeing that not trying to argue with the fear but rather make it as acceptable as we can - this already is a big insight that takes courage to see. Very helpful. Now how? I’d say take advantage of your coach if you’re in this track. If you are in the Ellie track, know that Ellie can really answer so well. Sometimes of course the replies don’t make sense, but if you ask the question in different ways, you can find a really true reply. I’ve trained Ellie myself and you can find Ellie in the menu (if you haven’t already).
Now to add something to the above - the sleep confidence that helps so much, I think it’s seeing that we can function, even have nice moments and do meaningful things after a short sleep night. When we see that the fear of being awake fades…
Hang in there and know we are rooting for you.

Have asked this question before. My boy looking at starting the journey first week in new year. He had read the books, listened to stories and knows this is his way forward. Type A personality - engineer. Is there a coach in Aus that would be a good fit?
    Thank you
    Chris (mum).

      Hi Chris,
Very glad he’s ready to learn and do some of this inner work. We don’t have a coach in Australia and I don’t know of anyone there… but, we do accommodate in our Immunity program by adding extra calls so that students from your time zone can join.
      Rooting for you both

@@thesleepcoachschool8192 thanks Daniel. So just looking at time frames:
Saturday morning 7.00 am here would be 3 pm Friday over there which would be workable.

@christinehanley9561 Hi Christine, yes morning your time tends to work well for our North America based coaches, but for our Europe based coaches I think there’s even more flexibility.
Now we set then calls up week to week, so if your son was in the program, the coach moderating that week would reach out and find a time.

    • @thesleepcoachschool8192

I can’t remember details but - I think she said it was about a year long process, which doesn’t mean she struggled for a year (!) but that it was a learning process

What strikes me about these testimonials is how YOUNG so many insomnia sufferers are. Any chance these insomniacs are reacting to something in the environment AS WELL AS TO endemic anxiety…? 🤔
